Terravoracious Advanced

Description
The Terravore playstyle has a cool theme, but it's way weaker than anybody would ever expect. Who wants 100 Minerals for permanently destroying part of a planet?

This mod buffs the rewards for eating planets, and guarantees all 3 reward types. It also automates the eating process-- the decision is now a toggle activation that will continue eating the planet until you tell it to stop.

Would you rather not have the automation? Check out my original mod, Terravoracious.

ALERT! Just so everyone knows, the devs released a game preview of the upcoming major release, and it looks like Consuming Worlds will be a decision from then on. In that case, the automation from this mod will likely be unnecessary.

It's been a pleasure eating worlds with you all. If a buff to the resources gained is still necessary I'll keep the regular Terravoracious mod updated, but it looks like this one will be going out to pasture soon. Farewell!

back playing your mod :) , so there was this mod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1786095925
adding a living planet that would eat other planets to increase its own size and districts. Now somehow this seems something a terravor race would do, consume other planets to make its own planets bigger and better. If you still look for some idears that would be something i think would be neat to have. With such an origin or civic, maybe by eating planets one could get at times a choice to also get the modiviers from that planet. Which then would be an awsome thing to be compatible with Guilli's Planet Modifiers and Districts ... accumulating more and more special modifiers and disctricts .... *mind blown* =) anyways back to omnomnom

I figured it out, was being crossed by Ethics & Civics: Bug Branch.

@cpu4 The description should be different, it should automate the process, and selecting the Decision should create a new decision for cancelling the consumption process. If none of this is happening there's possibly some installation issue, a mod conflict, or an update issue.

@Zetal When I look at the list of planetary decisions, I just see the normal "Consume World" decision. After it finishes running, it does not automagically continue processing the world. Is there a different one that should be showing up? Thanks!

Glad to hear it! Thanks for the testing!

It worked. I tried to replicate it with a few dozen worlds, works fine again. Cheers.

Unfortunately since I can't seem to replicate the issue, I've just tried to fix it blind. I just upload version 1.2, which will hopefully fix this? I think it's some edge-case related to Odd/Even numbers of districts maybe... Either way, let me know if V1.2 helps.

Okay, I disabled every mod to test this, and I hate you for reminding me what stellaris looks like without my UI and graphics mods. It used to consume every district slot that can be used till zero and cracked the planet. Now, its available districts, so if there's a city district built, the available district slots become zero, so it stops consuming, even though there's still a district left to be consumed. If consume doesn't destroy the final built district, it stops completely.

Okay, I just investigated and I was unable to reproduce the issue. As far as I can tell, planets that are completely consumed are cracked. Do you have the new DLC installed? Do you have any other mods installed?

Dang. I'll try to look into it this weekend.
