TAC Pack Core

Description
Corp Focused On Gimmicks - Small, But Awesome.
The TAC Pack introduces TAC, which aims to refresh TerraTech's experience.
More than 150 unique blocks, all are balanced with volume metrics and are fun to go against even as enemies.
Reactive Armor, Working Legs, Multi-Guns, Heavy Jet Engines, Tiled Wings, Fully Mobile Bases, and More.

See that large horde of enemies? We can deal with them just fine.

Highlights:
General:
Splash Resistance: Explosive weapons deal reduced damage and for some blocks, have no effect.
Reliability: Blocks resist more damage before detaching. Armor never detaches until it or supporting blocks fail completely, but don't have as much health.
E.P.M.C. Technology: Control energy at its purest form. Damage is mild but UNIFORM, which stacks fast!

Weapons:
Composed of Energy weapons, a handful of missiles and some select Gatling Guns.
KRAM ICBM: Pocket Nuke ideal for non-evasive / cowardly targets. Grade 5 TAC for super-late game.
Energy Weapons: Longer ranged, but weak against Heavy Shields.
ION Cannon Weapon: Compensates for the above.
NEW - Tractor Beam: Control the enemy's position DIRECTLY.
NEW - Phaser / Saber Beams: Extended range beam laser that needs to cool down after firing.
NEW - Multi-Guns: Weapons that switch ammunition based on the target.

Mobility:
Wheels: Fast, strong, but slippery and prone to grinding to a standstill. Includes hover wheels.
Wings: Tiled, tough, but very heavy. Survive heavy AA firepower that would normally shred land Techs.
NEW - Heavy Starship Engine: Place anywhere and add Anti-Gravity. Greatly restricts max Tech turning rates. Mass Application. Minimal Effort - supposedly Better Future on first antigrav module
NEW - Walker / Mech Legs: Moderate speed, but have built-in jump-jets and high weight tolerance.
NEW - Vector Jet Engine: NEEDED for wings - grants Extreme Manuverability
NEW - Atmospheric Jet Engines: NEEDED for wings - Slow to accelerate, but reaches breakneck speeds.

Defense:
Hasty Steriopticon Repairs: More costly, but prevents block loss.
Long-Ranged Projector Shield: Block some types of nukes with moderate power drain.
NEW - Steriopticon Shield: Shield bubbles that project far from themselves. A lone Steriopticon Shield cannot defend itself.
NEW - Disintegrator (EPMC) Shield: Stops explosions on direct contact
NEW - Active Defenses: Shoots down Missiles far away

Base / Crafting:
Fully functional like GSO's Bases.
MINUS the Crafting Dongles. GSO did not let us use the technology.
NEW - Mobile Component Fabricator: Fully mobile bases. Beware the top-heavy nature of this block.
NEW - Armored Doors: Close when an attack is happening to protect your base.

More Intelligence On TAC:
TAC is composed of the brightest from many other corps & kingdoms combined into one small, but potent community to tackle every task as safely as possible in all possible dangers.
You can see this in their blocks:
GSO -> All-Rounded but not the best
GeoCorp -> Resource-Capable but Cumbersome
Venture ->Fast but Slippery
Hawkeye -> Durable but Weak To Lasers
Better Future -> Mobile but EXPENSIVE
Reticule Research -> Experimental but Hazardous
Space Junkers -> Blocks high in quality but craft-only
Legion -> Smart but Buggy?

Lore bubbles on most of these but it will be elaborated on once Mod Missions is launched.
EFF Corp is their Direct Rival - TAC Techs can take on armies but can still be easily overburdened by EFF.
Legion Corp [UNRELEASED] is the corp TAC watches over and studies on - Attacking a Legion Corp Tech may alert a TAC Tech to your presence.

Yes they care about the environment! All of the weapons are certified eco-friendly.

Information:
This is a remake of the original TAC Pack Steam to prevent breaking tons of existing designs.
As such, the full TAC Pack was too unreasonably big for one Steam release anyways. The original will remain up but will no longer receive new blocks or drastic changes.

The TAC Pack was split into 4 Separate Packs:
TAC Pack Core
- IMPORTANT parts of the mod like the corp license, basic parts and cabs, ETC. [<- YOU ARE HERE]
TAC Pack Mecha Army
- TAC's Mecha A.I. Infantry will diligently watch your land.

TAC Pack Space Fighters
- Excellent space fighters built to take on the biggest warships out there.

TAC Pack Super Weapons
- For when you need more gun. Also many bonus experimental weapons of size-able caliber.

And yes, the weapons are balanced using a volume-based metric here instead of arbitrary numbers in the first TAC Pack, so TAC may look weak in some cases but shine with correct usage in combat (Slow projectiles to large, fast/beam to small).

Additional (Unneeded but increases fun):
Get the mod Advanced AI as it adds AI to all types of Tech and some "rogue" TAC techs to the wild enemy population to test yourself against.

Combat Music By Payload Studios. It's Better Future's first theme which was removed really early

Disclaimer:
Not all of the blocks shown in the display are in the TAC Pack Core specifically. Some parts may be in the other TAC Packs listed above.
The Hawkeye color scheme was due to previous skin-related restrictions in this mod's Unofficial Release
- The Hawkeye color scheme is mostly there to prevent breaking existing designs

Official Modding does not currently support TAC's set grades - blocks appear far sooner than they should.
There IS a whole campaign planned though, that will revolve around many different things and optional tutorials that go over the game's more complex mechanics.
Also a good introduction to the space combat through missions.

0ModManager is still highly advised - Lets this mod work the below mods for more awesome!
Particle Manager - Adds more flashy effects to the weapons!
Legacy Block Modules - Lets the Repair Bees repair and destroy more effectively

this seams a bit busted right now. Is that intentional (like, mid-fix) or something?

Also, it was a pain to subscribe to your unreleased TAC collection. Steam really should patch that exploit though

where can i find the endless forces fabrication mod? i was having loads of fun with it before and it seemed fairly stable from the point of a casual player.
