NOTICE: I have stepped away from modding for an indeterminate amount of time. What this means is that any mod I have posted will not be receiving updates (and by extension is probably broken) until I come back. I have no ETA, nor do I have plans on what I'll work on next. That said, the support I've received for the two mods I've done blows my mind. Thank you all, and may the Force be with you.

This submod allows the Alliance and Empire to build Venators on any world with a capital shipyard.

To use the mod, simply open the games properties, find launch options, and post the following: STEAMMOD=2384626598 STEAMMOD=1397421866

So, how would I go about that then? I saw a similar reddit thread for Thrawns Revenge, but im not seeing the file I need to modify as there are like six different unitfiles.

this doesnt need updated.. you can make it so any ship can be built by which faction youre playing as at any time by making small simply changes to the xml files. Just ask.
