The SBS MAKO Mk.I is the first in a planned series of civilian pleasure craft from SeaBoss Systems. Designed as a low profile powerboat the MAKO uses 4 Medium Engines in order to reach speeds exceeding 90 knots (46 m/s, 167 km/h, 103mph). This is accomplished by lifting the hull from the water with control fins in order to reduce the drag from water. The elevation systems can be either controlled automatically (default) or manually. In automatic mode the MAKO will react to excessive rolling and pitching by temporarily reducing the elevation to steady the vessel. After it's been settled the system will start to raise again to find that proper balance between stability and speed.

At a speed of 70 knots the MAKO is capable of a range of ~110km using its 5600L fuel tank.

FEATURES:

- Cabin includes Lavatory (Head), Glass Floor for diving observation and small Food Reheat Station
- Rear, Dive and Forward Spotlights
- Single Point Autopilot including Auto Throttle Control (stops at destination)
- Fuel Economy Estimator (CONSUMPTION 1x1 System by krimwand), HUD (integrated with Compass Band) and Sports Gauge Cluster (by 404_Gordon_Not Found)
- Throttle Control system featuring optional use of 6 presets configurations (IDL,LOW,MED,HGH,OVR,MAX)
- Gear Change system with Prop Brake for no stall transitions from FWD to REVERSE (Throttle System will automatically reduce to zero before changing gear for direction)
- EMERGENCY STOP System - When activate it will automatically set the system to reduced to 0 throttle and apply the Prop Brake.
- Automatic Pitch and Roll Control systems with Manual Override for Pitch
- Emergency Beacon and 2 Flare Launchers
- Chair Elevation controls for Driver's seat
- Engine Fire Suppression System in centre console. If the thermo coupling in the Engine Compartment detects a temperature greater then 60'C (abnormal, caused by fire) it will unlock the button and allow you to engage the EFS System. The water from the nozzles will slowly start to douse the flames. You can see the Temperature level in the HEAT control to the front level of the pilot. Once the fire is out (temp below 60'C) turning of the EFS System will relock the key.

GETTING STARTED and MOVING...
1. Sit in the Driver's Seat. There is a Master Activation Key to the left. Turn it and all 4 Engines will come online. At the same time the various the Driver's HUD and Information Panels will power up.
2.At 0 Throttle Power (IDL) the Prop Brake is automatically engaged and the vessel is set as Neutral. To get moving increase the Throttle by either pressing the UP/DOWN arrows to set a specific number (0-100%) or press buttons 1 and 2 to move through the presets. Once your throttle value is outside of 0 The system will automatically engage the clutches and gears and you will start gaining speed.

In order to go in reverse hit the 3 button and the system will roll the system back down to 0 before engaging the reverse gears. To go forward again simply hit the 3 button to toggle back. NOTE: In reverse the throttle is restricted to a maximum value of 30%.

Autopilot is started by hitting the 4 key. At that point the MAKO will automatically start steering towards the waypoint defined by the entry in the large keypad. If the MAKO is required to make a large turn the AP will automatically scale the throttle back in order to reduce rolling. Once the WP is within a certain range (225m at 100% throttle) it will start systematical reducing the throttle to bring you to a stop at the WP destination. Once the WP is reached the AP will automatically shut off.

THROTTLE CONSIDERATIONS:
00% - IDL, 0 knots. Used for keeping the generators running and the engines from stalling
25% - LOW, 8 knots. Uses Gear 1 (1:1). Used for slow maneuverinig.
35% - 11 knots
36% - 21 knots - Gear 2 kicks in (3:1)
50% - MED, 29 knots
75% - HGH, 55 knots, Boat will start planing over water
90% - OVR, 70 knots, Boat will be actively planning with the engines just in the water
100% - 90 knots, Very Limit for control with Automatic Plane Adjustment, go to Manual control and try to keep control.


HUD Elements:
*HUD is only active when the Master Activation Key has been turned on and the Show HUD switch is enabled (default)
- Compass Band with AP Target Pin - Top
- AP Indicator - Middle Left when AP is Active
- Reverse Indicator (RV) - Middle Right when Reverse is active
- Bottom Left - Throttle Value and Preset Name (defaults to THR when in between)
- Bottom Right - Speed in knots
