Description
So-called 'new religious movements' are a strange thing. They spread much like an infectious disease does, and can be just as detrimental to society at large. This scenario is about making your very own cult and bringing the entire world under its control.

This is a very in-depth scenario so don't skip the tutorial popups unless you already know what you're doing (or you've played the Shadow Plague a lot). If you want to report a bug or suggestion please leave a comment on the Steam Workshop page.

Oh, and this scenario also has content that may offend some people so, you know, don't play it if you don't want to see that.

Feature list:
-Two main endings: conquer the Earth or drive everyone to ritual suicide.
-Lots of trait combos.
-Custom government actions.
-Lots and lots of events.

Apologies for the constant references to vampires. The scenario creator doesn't let you remove any of the Shadow Plague popups.

Based DeDevilTails; Shadow Plague's soundtrack "Nox Eternis" is imo by far and away the best track. Just so badass!

Okay so this was one of the first mods I ever downloaded for the game and now that i've seen a good amounts of mods it really infuriates me how people miss out on good opprotunites with plague types. An scp 682 and alduin mod both exist and are neurax worms. Why not make those shadow plagues? THOSE ARE PERFECT FOR THE SHADOW PLAGUE? Templars could be spun off as the blades or the scp foundation. DeDevilTails I now see you're right about this whole no shadow plague mods. It's because everyone who should use shadow plague use neurax worm. I personally still think this mod should be neurax worm, but my god it's like the only shadow plague mod anywhere.

You should read up on the Genestealer Cults from Warhammer 40k. They fit spectalularly with this scenario

Hey MrKizu, I just finished fixing some imbalanced cure mechanics so the scenario should be significantly easier. I also wrote a strategy guide on the discussions tab. If anything specific can be improved, please let me know! Thanks!

Has someone actually beat this gamemode? Sure it's fun but it feels like impossible to beat even if you run around destroying labs.
