Not as good as Ys VIII, but still high up there.

Probably still one of my favorite games in the entire series. I played it for the first time back on the PSP; I loved it so much then, and I love it as much now. I played this game so many times that I lost count. I don't know exactly what it is that drew me in this much, but I always loved reading as a kid, so it was a treat for me. I also love the combat. Sure, it may be lacking some features that the latest entries of the trails series had, but at least it has a fast-forward option. It never had one back on the psp but I still enjoyed it anyway. Finally, this is the one that started it all, and the orbment system was more fun than the one in cold steel (not as good as the one in crossbell though). I love the combat in trails generally but this title just hits different. Oh, and the music is just nice to listen to.

If you love reading, chill music and tactical combat with a lot of strategy, then this game is for you. If it's too slow for you, then fast-forward is always there as an option.
