Coming off the cusp of Questions, I was very excited to see what the rest of the VN had in store, and I wasn't disappointed. Umineko Answers, while stumbly at times and even boring at others, was an intensely worthwhile and rewarding experience that I would recommend to anyone.

In regards to characters, all of the ones they decided to focus on and actually develop were absolutely excellent. There were some characters introduced that are very bland, even ones that I absolutely cannot stand, but the good ones are just wonderful.

The plot I'd say is rockier and less tight than Questions. Even so, some of the episodes built off of everything introduced in Questions masterfully, with my favorite episode actually being from Answers. While there are some episodes I didn't enjoy as much, there were none that were under 7/10 upon completion.

Answers also introduces my favorite selection of songs, only further adding onto Umineko's excellent soundtrack. Once again, there's a few duds, but the great ones far outnumber the less attractive pieces.

The main reason I'm coming down so hard on the flaws is because when Umineko is at its peak, it can't be topped by anything, so it's unfortunate that it has these issues. Answers is, despite its flaws, EXTREMELY strong. This is one VN that I have no qualms recommending to anyone who asks. It's such a huge improvement over Higurashi that it's hard to believe it's the same writer.

Umineko Full: 9.2/10

NOTE: While I don't enjoy Higurashi very much, I would say it's essential to fully enjoying Umineko, so if you haven't played/read/watched Higurashi, I'd recommend doing it before diving into Umineko.
