I was not expecting this to be a story-rich puzzle game, but even though I started for the puzzles, I've actually found the most fun piecing together the story. The puzzles quickly became difficult - I consider myself an experienced puzzler and have really been wracking my brain on many of these. The community has some really helpful guides in a variety of levels from hint all the way to full solutions, though the in-game hint system was confusing. The puzzles are creative and end up with some delightful twists that have kept them fresh. There are some really great environmental puzzles that are simply world-building, and they require some really out of the box thinking. Overall, I recommend this for even experienced puzzle gamers.

Fantastic art and really fun choose-your-own-adventure story. It feels like a new game every time! I wasn't a fan of the card-game play for some of the choices, but in the settings that can be tuned on a spectrum from easy to hard so I simply turned it to ez-mode so I didn't have to think about it. Speaking of settings, there are a metric ton of really great customizable settings!

Speaking of settings, there are also settings to turn down triggering content if you don't want to engage in it but still enjoy the rest of the game. I love that the developers were up front about the content so it's clear what you could encounter in the game, and yet they are not stuck on the game being One Way Only, so that they are ok with putting in a setting to reduce it so that more people can enjoy their game. That takes some real humility and consideration of their customers, in my opinion.
