Stopped playing gacha games because I couldn't get over Dys, 10/10 would recommend

I'm too cynical to enjoy this game. Thumbs down.

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect when I first purchased this game over a year ago, but I honestly regret not playing it much sooner. I can easily give this game an 8/10

The main draw here is the story, which is very good, it's not an overly grandiose story. Some parts of the story become a bit predictable with the yearly attack and the yearly festival. I was also initially disappointed with the ending, but after a short reflection, it isn't the end to a grand story, but the end of a simply 10 years of a long life your character will live. The game also REALLY encourages multiple playthroughs, with some events being completely unavoidable in the first play through, which isn't the worst thing since playthroughs aren't overly long only being about 10-12 hours. Just a warning, DON'T buy this game for the romance, I romanced 2 characters in the 2 playthroughs I've done, and while they aren't awful, they certainly aren't very interesting, some romantic interests also require you break up existing characters or let someone die. (Sidenote in my second playthrough, I got into a relationship with Vace, and he for some reason kept bringing up how he fumbled his dream girl, despite the fact I was literally dating him?) Essentially they feel like an afterthought.

The gameplay is additionally rather simple, but not overly monotonous, with you being given 10 years with 13 months per year to do one activity per month which will either give you increased stats, currency, or friendship with the characters. Additionally different activities will give you cards to help expand your deck. Something I'm not a big fan of however is the inability to really build a deck. The game also has an option to turn off the card game if you get bored of it or don't like it, but turning it off means a lot of the rewards are pretty much useless since they'e almost exclusively cards.
