So I've now been playing this for ages (too embarrassed to say how many hours!). It is my go to relax game and I usually play it whilst listening to something. Anyway, I've played a lot. I've got all the achievements and up until today my best score was just over 40,000. Been stuck there for ages. Today I finally got a new high score of 41,150. Woo Hoo! Now I'm not trying to beat anybody but myself but since it says I am 19009 on the leader board I thought I would check the high score. 9,360,120....

We forgot to announce last month's monthly challenge, oopsie!
For this month we want to try something fresh.
Here, have two winter-haikus! <3

Cold wind whispers frost,
Hexes gleam, a frozen field,
Village takes its form.

Tiles fall like soft snow,
Quests bloom, a winter garden,
Build peace, tile by tile.

Our village is snowed in... with quests! Looks like You'll be tile-ing away the winter in Dorfromantik.

Yup, that's right! For the month of December, our Monthly Mode is all about quests.
How many can YOU complete with no more than 50 Tiles?!
And don't worry, no trains will trash your lofty Highscore-Throne amibtions. 😉

why do some tiles get blanked out ?

i thought i could post a JPG here to show what i'm talking about. when it first happened i assumed it was because there was no possible tile that could be placed there, but i have since seen positions blanked that i thought tiles do exist for.
