a really cozy fishing game to pass the time, with animal crossing vibes in the best ways. if you have don't have anyone to play with, it's still very enjoyable and very cozy. i found myself playing this game by myself even when my partner wasn't around, and eventually convincing a couple of friends to also play, makes it even more of a good time. seriously just one of those 'good time' games.

booted this game up for the first time since my early childhood. started league play and picked as many characters as i could remember having before. took me a couple strikeouts to relearn when to swing with each character, eventually scoring two runs around the 2nd or 3rd inning. 2-0, nice! somehow, this flipped a switch in my opponents, the junior monsters. they proceeded to, by the end of the game (which i kept at default 6 innings), score 12 runs. beating me out 2-12 in MY FIRST GAME OF THE LEAGUE! what the hell dude lol anyways i just thought that was a fun story to share. this game is truly so fun and on multiple occasions i would find myself yelling like a dad coaching his kid's little league team.

Playing Balatro is really fun. I find myself much more engaged in beating the blinds, more so than I have in other roguelike deckbuilders. If there's any one that you need to try, it IS this one.

Very daunting game at first. There's a lot more depth (no pun intended) than you might expect before going into it. Once you give it a good shot and trial-and-error your way through some deaths, it is truly a great experience. One more thing, convince your friends to play with you if you can. It is way more enjoyable to me personally when you can endure these types of games with others.

YES THIS GAME IS FUN AND SCARY AND DIFFICULT EVEN WITH FRIENDS. VERY FUN WITH FRIENDS IF YOU HAVE FRIENDS THAT ACTUALLY WANT TO PLAY IT WITH YOU!!!
