This game is great but not kid friendly. There should be an option to alter those unnecessary scary parts.

I've just have beaten the main game with all the stars and unlocked Macbat. I'm aware that to unlock the other character I need to beat every stage with A-Rank (at the moment I've did this on two of the 9 stages) While searching for it though, I've noticed that the game have the S-Rank too. Does it unlock anything if you complete every stage on S Rank or it's just an bonus to whoever wants to make the fastest run possible?...

I'm genuinely so curious, because this game creeps me tf out. I bought it on a whim expecting a purely, cutesy platformer but it actually gives me so much anxiety.
