While there's nothing revolutionary about Stray's gameplay, this beautiful game oozes style and has such a unique atmosphere that it totally makes this cinematic linear experience worth playing.

While Road 96 has a creative way to tell a pretty decent story, I don't feel like the "procedurally generated road trip" and "No one's road is the same" claims are warranted.

This is more of a mixed review then a positive review

My first playthrough was enjoyable and made me feel like an actual runaway doing his best to survive.
However, during my playthrough I realised the game makes you go through a few story "vignettes" that are quite linear and your actions are most of the time completely unimportant.
There is no reason to replay this game after the first time because while some aspects are procedurally generated, the narrative barely changes.
The political themes are so on the nose that some dialogues with characters from both sides of the spectrum were quite cringey.

Although the gameplay falls flat on a few fronts, the visuals, music and overall story was quite good.
Because this game is about 7 hours long, I recommend it at a discount

A very simple roguelite with a beautiful art style and a really fun followers management system.
The gameloop is so engaging that while playing I had trouble putting it down.
The soundtrack is well crafted for this type of game and it deserves a specific mention.
My only downside would be that there's isn't a lot of depth in the roguelite or the management system. Both become quite repetitive when you get to the late game.

I still recommend it to most people who aren't looking for an overly complex roguelike.

Saying Gris is a beautiful game is severe understatement.
A simple plateformer that is elevated by an emotional story, an incredible OST and an amazing art direction.
The level design were sometime quite complex but I rarely got lost for a long time and could easily find where I needed to go next to progress.
There's nothing game changing about Gris's game design, but I didn't really care because I felt like it wasn't the point of this "game".
I strongly recommend Gris to anyone who could enjoy this unique ludic visual experience.

A very unique concept with pretty decent execution.
Most puzzles were well made while still being pretty easy.
The overall ambiance and humor was on point
I'm glad the game was on the shorter side because it didnt really iterate or add new concept so it was getting a big repetitive at the end.
However, the price is a bit high for game that took me around 2 hours. It's a good deal if you get it on sale however.

I really enjoyed this postal spinoff, every guns felt different with unique strengths and the humor of the postal series is still omnipresent. Most level we're really great while some were a bit too nonsensical to my taste.
But the most important part for me : the gameplay was really satisfaying and never felt repetitive for my entire playthrough.
Hopefully we'll get some updates, DLC or workshop support because I see a lot of potential for great new content and because I enjoyed it so much, I already want more!!

A visually magnificent game with a mysterious setting that is sadly dragged down by many gameplay flaws. Combat that seems interesting, but gets repetitive because it lacks enemy variety, accompanied by an unvaried boring game loop and probably some of the worst level design I've ever experienced. A labyrinth-like map doesn't need to be tedious to traverse.

A great indie game made by Hello Games, the creator of No Man's sky.
Beautiful artstyle and touching story with a great narrative.
The puzzle were a bit too easy but I still enjoyed most of the mechanics.
The world and athmosphere made for a very wholesome and contemplative experience.

A unique yet very short experience that's worth the price, especially if you get it on sale.

Gets really repetitive and boring after a while. Servers are unstable and it's still full of bugs after a whole year. Nothing really unique after the hype died down. I would not recommend

If I could summarize my experience : "Meh..."
While the game has definitely some strength, like the entire presentation (Art, Visual, Music, etc...), some major parts missed the mark.
At first, the entire world around you seems so original but most character that you are forced to converse with felt flat and stereotypical pretty quickly.
The minigames were easy and repetitive without bringing much into the story. They kind of felt like a waste of time.
The last gameplay sequence was pretty confusing but the real trainwreck is the actual ending. It was uninteresting and very underwhelming.

Although the presentation is nice and the theme explored are unique, I would not recommend this game.
