This is a game that you really WANT to like, but is ultimately hard to enjoy...

Firstly, the positive.
The game looks great, and plays even better. You can tell that a lot of work went into making the core mechanics feel extremely satisfying. Notably the sound design and destructible environments are uniquely perfect in this game, and go a long way to making every object and environment feel responsive to the player's actions. The look and feel of this game is really worth a lot of praise

But that's where the good stuff ends... Once the novelty wears off your not left with much else

The negative.
The story is (by design) a string of obscure events with very little to ground the motives of the player in something real. The world is intentionally mysterious, everything is random, very little makes sense, and that's supposed to be the point. But it's difficult to get invested in a world or story when it's impossible to understand the stakes or magnitude of what's happening. You're kind of just told how bad something is, and how important it is that you fix it, usually involving some arbitrary 'magic' mumbo jumbo artefact / technology. After a while, it just gets exhausting...

Next is the player progression. Plainly put, it's bad. Or at least, fairly non existent. There isn't much, if anything, to work towards in this game. You unlock major abilities as you play the game, but these are handed to you at certain points in the story, they're not something you work towards. The things you can progress include unlocking new weapons, and upgrades for your existing abilities. However, every new weapon is just a variation on the weapon you already have (e.g. pistol, but shoots fast, pistol, but like a shotgun, etc.) and every upgrade is just a minor adjustment to some stat, (like 10% damage, or 15% more ammo, etc.). The upgrade system leaves you thinking 'oh i haven't upgraded my abilities in a while, I should probably do that soon...' instead of actually looking forward to doing it.

Lastly the enemy variation. It leaves a lot to be desired. Every 'grunt' enemy ends up feeling the same, because it can ultimately be defeated in the same way, and the boss enemies usually come down to 'grunt enemy but with more health'. While it's not the worst, and there are some small twists to enemy design here and there, it's ultimately not enough in a game that already feels repetitive

Conclusion...
This is a game I really wanted to like, but the repetition, and uninspiring story dragged the experience down.

good game overall , the storyline felt a bit incomprehensible for me , but the combat and exploration was enjoyable , raytracing feature also shines and it suits the game perfectly.

This became one of my favorite games, I really liked the scientific weirdness. Great history, nice graphics and one of the best playability.
