My laptop is a potato, so I tend to prefer games light on requirements.
It's also running Linux, and despite Proton being awesome, native Linux support is a big plus.
I like to have replayability and procedural generation in games I play. Randomness rocks!
2D graphics are vastly better than 3D, in my opinion. I like low-poly aesthetics, though.
I almost never play multiplayer, and the last time I played co-op was many, many years ago.

zach-like puzzles, action rogue-lites, deck-builders, resource managers, factory builders, survival sandboxes, boomer shooters, turn-based tactics, traditional rogue-likes, text adventures...

... and an occasional 4X, RTS, beat'em up, or competitive FPS
