Finished the game, still don't have a connection to any characters. Don't care about her family tree, neither do the writers. Which is terrible. The weird little trippy scenes were fun. Other than that, it's a slow trudge through a boring story.

Thought provoking. Wish decisions made a difference.

Got it free. Loved it so much I played it twice and now I'm buying the DLC. The crazy graphics, physics, voice acting, story, and dozens of mind f**ks. It's a fascinating adventure of psychological thriller status. The DLC is not nearly as good.

Pretty, sure. Totally made for VR. But the first thing you see when starting a game is a big box about how to report bugs.

Then you see the construction tree and realize you're going to be swimming in a sea of random loot for days on end doing minecraft stuff in slow motion.

It's not pretty enough to be this boring and unoriginal.

Waste of time. I can't believe they charge for this game. They'd make more from donations or charity for feeling bad for them.

I have 17 hours because I fell asleep playing it.

It's a far offshoot from the original story. Umbrella is mentioned never. Their logo is on the helicopter at the end. There is no T-Virus or any virus. It's fungus now. There are probably 4 enemy character models besides the bosses. The only frightening part of this game is the "Daughters" DLC. It's otherwise just an Alien Isolation mixed with DOOM in a tiny house, but with fungus zombies instead of aliens or demons. To me, the Resident Evil / Biohazard HD Remaster was much, much beter. This game feels almost nothing like the series, has none of the lore, and only the end has any semblence of it.

Granted, the graphics are photographically amazing and if it were named anything but Resident Evil / Biohazard, I would probably give it a thumbs up. But I bought in for the lore and there is zero.

Can't change resolution in GLQuake. Had to download the "FitzQuake" exe just to change the resolution, and I paid actual money for this game.

As of 12/28/2017 it isn't even the latest release from id.

Also, the single player game always was and still is crap with it's endless levels of avoiding "gotcha" moments and no music.

My only complaint is the lack of a toggle switch for "Auto-select next unit". There's a config file to change it, but how hard is a tick box to make in the advanced section of the menu?

There's no going back to CIV 5 after a game of 6.

You may not like it at first, a lot has changed, but for the good.

Only one way to complete anything. L-I-N-E-A-R__A-F

Maybe it's because I just played through Breath of the Wild, but this game feels so linear. The upgrade paths are more like barriers to prevent progress in the direction you want to go.

I loved the previous "Tomb Raider", but there's nothing new here.

Graphics are pretty amazing, I'll give it that. But gameplay took a backseat.

Story has interesting premise but is watered down across so many hours you kind of stop caring.

Interactivity between your character and the world seems like a baby calf standing for the first time. It's almost as if most of the game is a quick time event with a few moments of "freedom" to solve a puzzel or climb something, but in reality, there is only ONE way to do anything in this game.
