IMPORTANT: Be sure to turn off any setting that requires Nvidia gameworks (it will tell you in settings) and "Tree relief" or else it will tank you fps and run poorly.

Otherwise, Far Cry 4 has aged extremely well graphically, mechanically, and narratively. 8/10

Fallout 4.5

It's flawed, but its nowhere near as bad as the youtube gaming ComplainOsphere makes it out to be. its a massive game with a very detailed and interesting game world and fun progression system that regularly goes on sale for 10 dollars. Its probably the worst fallout game, but that's still pretty good compared to most games.

The gunplay and artstyle are good, but the map design is atrociously unintuitive and over-complicated. The game quickly devolves into an incredibly tedious key hunt. Do not buy this game unless you were one of the few that loved hunting down all the little hidden switches in hexen without a walkthrough in order to progress.

Really blown away by this one. I went in half expecting a pretentious walking simulator, or a slightly interactive movie with annoying quick time events. This is a stealth game first and foremost with some extremely unique combat and environmental mechanics that are drip fed throughout the length of the campaign to keep things fresh. The graphics and art direction are stellar and are accompanied by a well written and voice acted story. If you can withstand the presence of Fr*nch "people" for 15 hours, then this is a must buy. 9/10

I really wanted to like it...Its just so aggressively mediocre. The concept is interesting but the characters are so boring and the gameplay is not good enough to make up for it.

The Baldurs Gate 3 we have at home.


If you are new to tabletop/turn based RPGs, play on explorer difficulty. Classic can be very frustrating unless you already know what you are doing.

They took the extremely fun and stellar gameplay loop from prototype 1 and refined the controls and drastically improved the graphics. An absolute must play...If you can get it to run.
