Story

Returnal's cryptic story is what makes this game so incredibly good. You usually know stories like this from the Souls games, but here they were implemented incredibly.
In addition to the story that you are told during the normal game playthrough, you also need the "secret" ending and collectibles to understand the rest of Selene's story.
However, since this game is randomly generated, it can be quite annoying to get the collectables mentioned. xD

Gameplay

At first, Returnal can be quite demanding, as it is an absolute roguelike hell-bullet game and it happens that several opponents throw several projectiles at you from all directions.
But once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun to avoid them and destroy your opponents in close and long-distance combat
