I started the journey as a lowly tarnished, with only the guidance of grace to guide me on a perilous path of struggle, hardship and suffering. I stumbled, I failed and I died. I came back up again, learning from my mistakes.
In the journey, I faced many great enemies. Some I admired and respected while some I loathed and hated, yet thankful for them all.
I made friends, learned from teachers, faced-off adversaries, fell in love, cried in loss, and shared on the happiness of each and every characters of the game. For those who may call me their consort, their lambkin, their tarnished, or even their lord; i express my thanks.

This game was my second entry to fromsoftwares, ( the first being sekiro), and I am at a loss of words to express the emotional rollercoaster I went through during my playthroughs. I now understand why their games are so well-celebrated and has such a vast community.

It doesn't matter if I am a lowly tanished, I shall never put my foolish ambitions to rest.

I had been waiting for this game for 4 years, with it being my dream game as I am a huge fan of samurai and their way of the warrior. I had always been fascinated by their codes of honor, the bushido and how they follow it, even seeking an honorable death. Their way of the blade, their deep appreciation of loyalty and drive for courage always drew me. And this game was the one for it for me being able to be the venerated samurai.
But, who knew this game will make me question the very building blocks of that system; of choosing the path of honor or the path of righteousness. Will you obey your lords and charge into battle risking the lives of others, or will you fight with what is needed and save of lives of many, even at the cost of doing the dishonorable? These concepts was vividly portrayed in Ghost of Tsushima.

I always thought I would choose the path of honor over anything else, but how this game bases its storyline and how the infamous 'Ghost' rose from the ashes of a samurai named Jin Sakai will always live and haunt me, of how he single-handedly overthrew the mongol invasion of Tsushima. For that he had to choose of what is right rather than what is honorable.

I am still learning my ways in life, and what to choose from right to wrong, but choosing to buy and play Ghost of Tsushima was the best and right decision I had made in my entire life. No matter the cost, I shall always choose to the path of righteousness.
