Sunbreak literally crashes every few hunts. The game just...it's fantastic but holy ♥♥♥♥ it's such a shame that it's full of bugs and crashes basically non-stop...even after the bug fix update today the game still crashes so often to the point where it's nearly unplayable

Have 100%'d the game, put hundreds of hours into it, it's now basically abandon by 343 and overflowing with hackers.

Wouldn't recommend at ALL unless you don't care about multiplayer and just wanna play Firefight or Campaigns

Was actually kind of spooky, tried playing it but it kept crashing at weird points and during weird moments that I thought were intentional but I no longer think were actually part of the game, lol.

Literally the best Yugioh experience you could ask for. The entire competitive ladder, from Bronze to Platinum, is First Turn Kills, or One Turn Kills.

Literally got hit for 12k+ damage on opponents first turn at Bronze 4 versus Cyber Dragons omegalul

Let it be known that the developers actively blocked and perma-muted members of the community who purchases micro-transactions prior to the recent player boom / open beta.

Players with years of earned and paid cosmetics ignored and silenced all for the sake of avoiding controversy during the games hype on twitter and tiktok.

You wanna know why 70% of the playerbase left? It's because word spreads, word that you should absolutely be in fear that any paid cosmetics your puchase might just disappear one day without warning OR compensation.

EDIT: This review got attention and raised some waves in the community. I have now been blocked on the subreddit, on twitter, and in the discord. Literally for asking for a refund. Also, a community manager admitted that they "couldn't find" and "didn't keep track" of who purchased microtransactions but they were able to raise 1,000,000$ in two weeks ???

Been playing since Aria owned the game, years worth of playtime on an older account. Accounts got wiped, people who put hundreds of dollars into the PvE got zero compensation, and now the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ borderline pay 2 win (You have to open lootbox to perma unlock guns or pay to rent them) basically locked every gun we already earned behind a paywall and "upgrade" system that lets you buy skins for REAL MONEY to combine them to make since that were previously FREE TO UNLOCK VIA PLAYING.

On top of that, the hacking situation is horrific. People will join the discord, promote hacks, share hacks, admit to hacking, and not get banned because one person (this is not a joke) one single person in the discord handles hack reports and the in game system can be tricked by using drones to mask wallhacks / aimbot. So....they lost thousands of players for having zero compensation for account wipes, and now they require you to film every one of your matches just in case someone is cheating because despite everything in the game being a microtransaction they aren't able to afford anti-cheat or record matches on their end?

Tl;dr - Played for two years, unlocked everything under the previous Publisher and had everything wiped off our accounts for no reason other than to resell us stuff.. Game switched Publishers, is now entirely riddled with Micro transactions and cheaters.

Don't play this trash, Play CSGO, play anything literally ANYTHING else.


UPDATE: 2023, Game is full of cheaters, Discord is full of homophobic 4chan levels of incels. Do not play this game. DO NOT support Wipple. I demanded a refund for services after being targeted for my sexuality in the discord and was ignored.

I don't quite understand some of the negative reviews, primarily how some content within the plot is "triggering" therefore it's somehow lazy? It's telling a story, a story that's coherent and makes sense. We're given all the context we need by the NPCs who have kept the secrets and twist to themselves so our character can flush out a full narrative. So with that being said, obviously if you're sensitive to sexual horror / Cosmic horror...this game isn't for you, and you would know that by watching a trailer....but plot wise this game isn't doing anything games haven't done before or haven't done that have gotten praise for...if a Metal Gear game can have a woman get gang r*ped and a bomb implanted in her snatch and win awards ya'll can handle a single mention of r*pe in this games plot.

As for the game play, it's fantastic. I would compare the movement more something like Gunfire Reborn or Nightmare Reaper or even Dusk than Doom...the Mobility tech is very apparently and provides for a lot of really fun combat situations during the late game.

Graphics wise, it's fantastic and the options we have in terms of graphics are fine for what they art. The Artstyle itself is beautiful and haunting and doesn't try to be edgy or graphic for the shock value but instead for the metaphor. Every creature feels like it's design has a purpose, much like Silent Hill.


Anyways, this game is a solid 8.5/10 for me. I really enjoyed it and would absolutely pay for expansions if they ever come down the road. It's short, sweet, and doesn't waste your time with what it's here to do...which is tell a story and provide rewarding yet tense gameplay.

Didn't even want to play this, bought it to play with a friend.

Have been playing the main series games since the original Ps2 launch. Can easily say this is my FAVORITE game in the ENTIRE franchise, straight up.

I would request a refund but after realizing Alt-F4 didn't close the game I passed the two hour mark and figured I might as well dig in.

It's not a....bad...game? But....at the same time it's uh...yeah it's REALLY something...

All three hours of my play time were lost because my auto-saves deleted themselves when I loaded into a new dungeon.


EDIT: I don't think I was clear enough, I ENJOY this game. I switched to Recommend since I would LOVE More people to know about this little gem...this broken and insanely enjoyable Gem.
