Today it is just a kernel AC, tomorrow someone gets access to your PC and use it as a miner or even brick your hardware. Not to mention someone corrupt can sell all your personal data to the 3rd party or data leaking happens and voila.

Yeah, they changed the EULA because there will be a kernel level AC (imagine using a kernel AC for singleplayer \ coop PVE game) in Borderlands 4, but since they use the same EULA for all games instead of different EULA for different games, the old games got the same changes, but old games don't get the kernel AC aka spyware, so old games are safe.

I bet they do that because they want to make BL4 full of microtransactions and tons of paid content and they just don't want people to get it for free like in old BL games. Greedy.

Kernel AC is the only reason I don't play Valorant, so obviously I won't buy BL4.
It has been proven that kernel ACs are still bypassed by cheats, yet those make big vulnerability holes in your system.

Nah, it's for BL4 and other future 2K games, old BLs are fine.
