Dragon's Dogma 2

i got wayy too many complaints about dragons dogma 2 but i still love it, really unique RPG with stylish combat and funny interactions. Here's hoping the expansion fixes many of its flaws
  • most vocations (classes) are disappointing, sorc got axed massively from dd1 with no access to exequy and miasma, the tankier melees are still mid at best, trickster combat is very slow, the entire warfarer fantasy feels extremely limited and theres no mystic knight
  • the new bosses look appealing but theyre very rare to see and afaik theres no scaling whatsoever so by level 60 you can pretty much one-shot anything including lesser dragons as long as youre a magick archer. Medusa and talos encounters are very gimmicky and limited
  • you can fix that AND have actual accurate in-game descriptions for items (i.e. the game doesnt even tell you how much health you recover by consuming 1 herb) lets hope by the time new content drops they address these issues
  • dd1 is 12 years old but had faster access to your full inventory, story was better
  • very cool idea for endgame but you play it on a timer
buy this if you want a good action game with no handholding and quirky quests and loot, as long as you stay away from checking out guides on the internet you'll have a blast
