(Full review, and Im listening to the end credit ambiance for the feels)

I played this game through in two big chunks. Chunk one was when the game came out in a very buggy, unplayable state. I played all of act 1 and some of act 2, and put it down after 10 hours of playtime. At the time, it didn't help that my computer was really bad, so I couldn't really continue playing it even if I got past the jank of the game. Then I got a job and started going back to school, so bigger RPGs like this one were out of my reach for awhile. I was disappointed at how the game felt at the time mechanically, but I was very impressed with the world CD Projeckt Red, and Mike Pondsmith.

As time passed, I upgraded my pc, and began finishing my backlog of games on steam. Then I got to Cyberpunk and didn't know if I 100% wanted to finish it. Like many others on here, I watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners and really got sucked into the dystopian world again. After I beat Metro Exodus, the next game on my list was Cyberpunk.

Jumping back into the world in the second act, I really appreciated the patches and how much they fixed the game. I did a lot of Side jobs and gigs to get money, remember what was going on, and really immerse myself in the storytelling. Johnny Silverhand and V are two very tragic characters, and everyone in their lives either is ignorant to what is going on or can't fully understand the situation they are both in, and how their views of the world around them are. This world is depressing and Night City is the embodiment of that.

I put about 49 hours into the game fully before beating it, and I got the Nomads ending, and when I listened to the end credits and everyone's calls, I got in my feels about what was happening and the fate of V and everyone else.

My main criticisms are that the game's length is too short for its own good (Ik its built around Night City and its hard to make something like a Modern Witcher with the setting but come on >:( ) and that some side quests felt too optional for how deep they go. With that said, the game is a solid 8/10 for me
