Welcome to the (semi unofficial) /r/civ party-up group!

A group for dedicated civ players to set up civilization games with other likeminded individuals. Any civilization game is accepted, feel free to set games up for whichever you'd like.

To host/plan a game, simply create a discussion in the discussions area. Ideally, in the future, interested/available players will be able to simply add a note to your discussion board requesting a game invitation.

Games should have a skill level tag attached them stating whether you're looking for mostly inexperienced/experienced players.

Mods and admins will post announcements for competitions and events, if we actually ever schedule one, heh.

I created this group a few months ago in conjunction with the /r/civ admins to try and get a community playdate/get-together sort of thing going.

Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of interest. Soon afterward, I stopped playing civ regularly, too.

So, sadly, this group has fallen into disrepair/obscurity/etc., but I'd love for it to live on- if any of you want it to!

If you'd like to give your shot at reinvigorating this group, leave a response! We should totally get this group up and running: properly this time.

To clarify: What I'm thinking of is handing power over the group over to enthusiastic people.
