PAYDAY's 2 year birthday
This thread can be used to collect all of our findings related to the picture regarding PAYDAY's second birthday, below is what I've found so far.

One of the most obvious things is an area on the map (right between Dallas & Wolf) that's circled and has arrows pointing at it. Looking this building up on Google Maps, it appears the embassies to Liechtenstein, Iceland and (drumroll) Sweden are here.

Other buildings are also marked, just above Wolf's head, the Georgetown University is marked, to the left/top left of Dallas' head, 1312 29th St NW & 2811 P St NW (addressess are approximations, the street they're in is accurate though) have been marked with an X, though a quick Google search reveals nothing special about either of them.

I'm trying to find the addresses to the other three crosses on the right hand side of the map, but I found something odd in the meantime:
to the left of the exclamation mark on the map, there appears to be a body of water, that isn't there in real life, nor is there anything of that shape (and nope, it's not McMillan Reservoir, they don't match, and the longtitude (lengthitude? it's north-ness) is off). If you want to look, the bottom point of the mark-thing is at the Thomas Circle Park.

The dot of the exclamation mark appears to be centered around (the vicinity of) Burke Park, though the only thing near there I could find is an elementary school, and I very, VERY highly doubt we're going to be doing anything with that...

I'll post more when I've found the last three marks...

No luck finding the last three addresses, the block sizes don't seem to match... I'll try again tomorrow, when I've gotten some sleep in. If anyone lives near those marked areas, maybe have a look around? It *is* an ARG, after all.

Also speculation on what these areas might mean? I'm too tired to really think of anything useful atm, maybe you guys can prove to be more fruitful.

Nothing big, but Chains appears to be wearing either the CTV or the ICTV armor (I'm guessing the ICTV, since he's the enforcer), with Dallas & Wolf wearing the standard Suit & Tie, while Hoxton is wearing the hidden vest (can't recall it's name atm).
Like I said, nothing too big, but probably relevant for triggering the secret.

My guess: fire. I'm trying to be as simple as possible, since OK always made the hints pretty straight forward. They are leaning over the candles, so yeah. Fire it is.

They end the message with "See you at the safehouse!". They've ended a lot of stuff like that, so I can't help but think that it's important somehow. I know that place has been examined to death (blinking lights, camera monitors, etc) but it's still worth a mention.

Also the fact that Dallas is holding the saw may mean something. Such as using the saw to open deposit boxes or something is necessary.

It doesn't appear to me that the grey area on the map in the picture is representing water. If you look on the far left side of the map, the actual water part is blue. My guess is this part at the top is supposed to just be a part of the map that's torn or missing.

If you want a better look at the map, go to the Safe House. This is almost a screenshot of the desk and map found there. The only difference is they added money piles, cake, the characters, and part of the desk is missing. Most everything else seen is just as it is in the Safe House.

Chains is wearing heavy armor (ICTV) armor while everyone else is wearing suits. Probably important.

Do you guys think the piles of money on the desk are relevant?
I also think the saw has something to do with this.

It appears to be for getting the mask for joining the PAYDAY 2 official group, nothing more. :/

The only helpful thing so far is the bear mask. Maybe day 3 will be a clue, but I'm still betting everything is in dlc.

"How to Get The mask" Step 4...."???" is just odd. Step 5 already tells you to enjoy it and use it in game, so why is there an a additional step ?

Also to note, the mask is called "Mark", if you purchased the soundtrack youll have "The Mark" as one of the tracks. This might be a hint of them adding it to the game but its also strange that the soundtrack (this time around) has nothing to do with the missions (unlike the PD:TH).

Something's up. They are hinting that we are missing a step with the "???"

"But why is it named Mark? And what's up with that wierd discription?"
