Baldwin - 1174

Sorry for the double post. It seems that this group has died down recently (naturaly) over the last few months. Its the end of the year, people are busy and there havent been that many updates coming in (that we have noticed). But i do have two bits of information that i came accross.

1. From the searches I have made, people sort-of disreguarded the arm of "Justice" (which was broken off by Dallas) as a joke or something of the like. But justice feels like more of a serious target to me. Various reasons add up, the arm that is missing (her right arm) is holding a sword. Grasp that for a few seconds, many of the images in Bain's guide depict a sword (in various ways). Justice "unarmed" i understand can singnify the incompitance of the authorities to the gang, but justice herself happens to apear in one of the images from the guide. Should we be looking for the missing arm?! The sword?! And if Mrs.Justice was moved (which resulted in her broken/missplaced arm) where did the gang take her from?! I feel that Justice plays a bigger role in the game than to open up your 'secret' hideout.

2.Im sure you guys/girls have been playing other games and have been taking a break here and there from Payday2. I have, with an Alpha version of DayZ (i know some of you have too). If you have played this game and have been lucky enough to come accross the 4 masks. DayZ has added wearable masks of our favorite gang. At first thought, it feels that the developers have respect/love for Payday2 and created an easter egg. But looking back to how reddit posts and steam forums have been echoing connections to Vlad (russian) accross multiple games including Battlefiled3 (he did voice acting for a similar "Vlad" character), it starts to look like Vlad has a bigger picture than just diamonds and tiaras. The hell DayZ has to do with Vlad and Payday2? For those that have never played the original or the new standalone, the game takes place in Russia. Other than Vlad and the russian connection (like others have made), the masks might just be a fun nod to the game but still a note worthy mention.

I saw that too, but the boxes seem random for what it is. Not to mention that the last two DLCs have all been about opening deposit boxes.

Reguardless its a good observation.

I saw it, and we commented on it here too. But i still hear piss in it :/. Keep it on the burners though and dont count it off, because you could be right. Right now there are three possibilities Piss, Presents, and or Pressure. Only two of them are relevant (seemingly), but i wouldnt chose one over the other yet. Until we get some kind of nod pointing to Big Oil or even the new Charlie Christmas Heist.

There is also some discussion about the "Nine Lives" skill and how it coincides with one of the images from the guide. Using the skill to take damage while in case mode (to go down) and then activate the effect.

Ive gone back into the safehouse, to do exactly that. Just to see if you can blow open a wall bricked up, or something that would catch my attention. Nothin so far :(

The only thing that does however, is that in an area without light, the grenades produce an artificial light after exploding (very feint and not very long). Its a cool effect, with alot of detail but still not sure if its useful.

I will be trying the Big Oil Pool when i get home!

After the DLC update, they added something at the bottom of the Crime.net page called "Contact Database".

They showcase everyone in the payday circle (that up to this point is significant). One of the most interesting ones to listen to is Bain. Cycle through bain a few times to catch different sound bytes, one mentions him being "just like us" and that he is also "after the secret".

Nothing substantial but it shows that OK is adding alot of bits, making me think that this secret is indeed very big.

Even though i feel that its more of them pissing "in the wind" as i always say.

There are ALOT of "small" changes being made. Posters and images are becoming higher resolution images now. The cakes and photos of the bakery menu are much clearer now.

This sounds like the remix of "Mayhem in a suite" but the 8 bit version..... The ending is what im attracted to. That garble of noise at the end, seems like a good place to search. ill see if i can slow it down and or reverse it once im out of work. If any one else can do this before me, be my guest.

It seems odd, but it IS possible the trigger could be as arbitrary as all that.

It might be in the Firestarter thread but back in september I confirmed that heists can be compleated in casing mode. Check the google doc for more.
