It can't be coincidence that Stanley Parable was released around the same time as the mysterious 'Mark' mask, can it?

That same statue will spawn in the middle of the park escape. Then sometimes it's a fountain that spawns in the middle and he spawns on the outer-lower edge of the park in a random spot.

Pages 39 and 40 have symbols that match some of the symbols in the guide. They are also showing how those symbols match up with the Whitehouse...

So I found this: http://exposingdeceptions.org/talisman.html (I downloaded it via torrent, but I'm not going to post a link for that.)

The book goes onto talk about how all the streets in DC are connected and make up a multitude of symbols, including a pentagram, alchemical symbols, etc. The book explains how the layout is based on cities in Europe.

The most interesting chapter in the book is called 'A Treasure Map'. It talks about how everything is layed out in DC by the founding fathers to make out a treasure map. Even going as far as to say they're hiding the 'holy grail'.

There are many maps with lines and locations in DC I know nothing about. Maybe these can relate to spots marked on DC maps in the game...

I don't know. A very interesting read though. Just throwing it out there because it relates in so many ways.
