Possibly. But the thing is that some people already have a low-end PC that works for their computer needs perfectly and they just want to find a way to play games. They're not really looking for a replacement for that PC.

And I wouldn't say that with Xbox One's price ($329) you get a very good PC. Xbox One can run any games made to be played on it, whereas with $300 PC it feels a bit like gambling with newer titles. Some people don't want such risks.

Consoles are also pretty easy to install and they're just for games. With PCs (unless self-built) you tend to get lots of crapware with the computer and as time goes forward the PC starts to get slower because yeah, that's how Windows works or something I guess.

Console is just a simple option for a simple person. PC has its own ups and downs.

All game companies releasing on the PC. All benefit from it because anyone who plays or checks out fan-made content almost undoubtly owns or plays their product. As I've said you don't need to be a nintendo fan to play nintendo hack, in fact you might be playing it just so you don't have to buy a nintendo console. I know a lot of nintendo haters who do exactly that.

It doesn't necessarily mean that I own the game. When I stumble upon this content, it shows me that the game has a large fanbase around it. Then it makes me wonder what about the game is so good that it has attracted so many people to play and create things related to it.

This happens quite often to be honest. It's basically free advertisement I would say.

They took down Pokemon uranium though, Pokemon uranium. I can see why they took down that metro is fangame, virtual console and all that. But I don't see why Mario and the music box was valid.

Nintendo can take down any game or product that has Pokemon in it. It's their registered trademark. It's pretty ridiculous indeed, because all the fan-made content is what keeps their fanbase alive. Why would they want to destroy it..?

I suppose that's true, but obviously it's also up to the student himself whether or not he will succeed. In my country teachers have no power to do anything though, students can basically annoy teachers as much as they like; literally say fuck you or go suck a dick to them, etc.. and if teachers yell back to them they risk getting fired.

And 70% of the class plays with their phones anyway, so no wonder our PISA results are falling. Students are really protected here, to the point where they can pretty much do what they want to do. Like recently in the news, one student has been playing music in a class for the whole autumn season and the teacher is too afraid to take action against him.

This is basically why home schools and private schools are a thing of the future for those here who really wish to study.
