All game companies releasing on the PC. All benefit from it because anyone who plays or checks out fan-made content almost undoubtly owns or plays their product. As I've said you don't need to be a nintendo fan to play hacks of nintendo games, in fact you might be playing it just so you don't have to buy a nintendo console. I know a lot of nintendo haters who do exactly that.

Metriod Fusion if you can stand horror themed 2D shooter. I could barely, but good game all the same.

Castlevania Double pack with Aria of Sorrow and Harmony of Dissonance, or buy them seperately. 2 of the best GBA titles hands down. One is more aged than the other, so maybe pass on Harmony of Dissonance if you had to only choose one. These Castlevania side scrolling rpg games are amazing, a must play for any gamer honestly, especially if we're talking about Aria of Sorrow.

They took down Pokemon uranium though, Pokemon uranium. I can see why they took down that metro is fangame, virtual console and all that. But I don't see why Mario and the music box was valid.

Why they took down pokemon Uranium is a bit complicated. Though suffice to say it doesn't truly benefit them leaving it like pc games. It's original content but it's using the pokemon bran name, the battle system, the level and customiaztion system of the pokemon, not everything is original even though it's an original story and cast of pokemon.


Secondly, nintendo is a rather idiotic company, I love them but they're idiotic all the same. Their IPs are what arugably keep them afloat, with thee most known IPs in all of gaming no doubt. Having a free alternative like their games is direct competition for their games. What I'm saying is, is that there's less reason to buy a nintendo console for pokemon games if all your friends are playing free pokemon mods online. That's why I think nintendo ultimately does this, or at least why doing this is a smart move for them. They aren't quite like PC game companies who benefit from their fanbase doing mods or tribute games because anyone who plays them isn't doing so on a nintendo console.



And the reason nintendo is stupid is because they aren't captializing on fan content. They could accept submissions for fan games, keep the bar high only accept the best. That could only be hosted on their platform. I mean that would be another reason to buy a switch if I could play Super Mario 64: Star Road there(assuming I owned the original SM64 or not)

Can't. Demon's Souls is Sony exclusive. Hopefully it gets a PS4 remaster though. That would be awesome.

Well, it being illegal most of the time drives prices up. Pot costs way more than it should be. Kids don't have a lot of money to spend. There's a big tasty profit margin for drugs if I remember correctly.
