I'm totally in favour of hired mods doing a professional job myself. But sometimes users just wanna feel like they're being governed by other users. When it comes to hired mods doing their job it causes some people to cry censorship of their opinions by a company, community mods are a safer bet as less blame lies on Valve to do a proper job.

The "no random crits" attribute is usually applied to weapons that already have crit gimmicks (because having both defeats the point of the weapon) or have on-kill effects (to prevent undue gains from random crits). The only exception that comes to mind is the Enforcer, probably because it gets a damage boost anyways.

The loss of random crits isn't used to nerf weapons the way a damage reduction is. If random crits were disabled tomorrow, balance wouldn't change much.

It sorta keeps the eyelander alone in check not because it's loss of random crits is a huge balance towards it's positives(it is, but it's not the only factor). Melee fights are suicide for demoknights when the majority of classes do 195 almost every hit while you're doing a third of that.

Well don't forget to remove the eyelander when you remove random crits.

Eh, constantly running into servers with ads, mods that give admins 4 heads on spawn, and shit worse than that has really soured my taste for community servers in general.

I think nocrits should be exclusive to competitive and community servers. Pubs are fine how they are. I don't want every pub I join to be a meat grinder of 8 long time members constantly feeding on new players and whenever they get autobalanced they just switch to spectator or leave. Removing random crits is only gonna encourage people to pubstomp and teamstack.

The requirements and competition to actually become an american citizen is are pretty intense. You could be looking at a long wait to be processed through even if you do make the grade. Racism seems to be sparking since the election. If that stuff doesn't bother you, then I'd check out america immigration registration sites to find out more information.


Canada is less competitive, has a high minimum wage, more friendly unless you move to the countryside, but harsher weather and a high cost of living. Could always settle for it instead.
