I adore this game and have 100+ hours in it! I am still trying to beat every candle on all difficulties. Was just hoping you maybe had plans for another game in this style.

I have done 484 runs and none of them a win... I've made it to the boss a few times, and defeated them once, but never made it past the second ring...

This is kind of a niche scenario, but twice today, I was clicking on an enemy twice rather mindlessly, knowing that it would take two hits to finish them off. However, after the first click and while I was clicking the second time, my character parried and thus defeated the enemy quicker than I was expecting. An exit was right behind the monster card, so the second click was interpreted as if I was planning to exit the dungeon level, which I most assuredly was not ready to do. trying to get the Scrounger Appreciation achievement, any way I can

I just died in a run when I had the knockback gloves and assumed, when I have a higher speed stat and knock back a poison enemy, that they wouldn't be able to touch me in retaliation and poison me. Knocking back explosive enemies seems to work as expected in that they blow up away from you and thus don't damage you, even if you deal a fatal blow to them right in front of you. Why doesn't this same logic work on enemies that can poison you? Here's the death summary screen...
