The concept of this game is ok. It's challenging and requires extra attention during the beginning and middle phases of the game; later, it's just a mess or pure chaos. The meta-strategies are what it's all about. To complete a run, you only need a purple/legendary item or some OP common items from the beginning of the run, or just have the OP spellbooks (soul gun/quick poison reload, etc) or extreme luck. To have (at least some) strategy here, nope. Or to complete the run, you have to do some crazy cheatty build - no regular builds, I tried a lot. Cool items and synergies, but to completely set up a build, a lot of luck is required, since you can't reroll in the shop or the shop has a limited number of items. The goo explode/poison enemies are the worst, and frankly, it's annoying that almost all of the rooms are filled with those. The item proposal system is also weird, it tends to propose to you the items in the slots that are already filled. This game could be a blast if the developers added more room types, more specific shops (for each attribute/vestige set), and a spell shop with the option to refill or something. The shrine's rooms are useless. The souls system is also weird, but by the end of the game, you collect more than 300+ for nothing. Maybe for other types of people it's OK, but after playing a lot of roguelike deckbuilders, I may say this game is "special" and oriented for certain players. Bravo to the devs for the amazing idea, but this game lacks balancing in terms of items, stats, enemies, and economy.

PS: Why do we have this new trend of making the game strangely difficult and claiming it to be a "Normal" difficulty? Just simply let the players lean into the game, learn it positively and seamlessly. And then, if they want, they can add extra challenges/difficulties afterwards with already earned experience. I am not surprised that the common achievements percentage is very low in this game, because people try it -> get frustrated -> quit.
