This game hurts. The title is accurate. You're the one in pain.

I normally don't like games where I can lose purely on RNG but going into this game knowing it's a core feature helped a lot. More importantly, once you start learning the game, it's very satisfying to learn how to fight back against the RNG. There are few runs that I'm not making it deep into the dungeon now.

But the game is hard. The game is frustrating. You need to want to enjoy that.

Also it's creepy as hell. I love the aesthetic.

The game is definitely a unique experience. If you're expecting a roguelike-deckbuilder, you're in the wrong place. This game is a turn-based roguelike dungeon crawler with everything represented as cards.

Overall I enjoyed playing the game, but I think I'm having trouble describing it more than the previous paragraph. I truly feel like this is one of those games you should look up game play videos online first to really get a feel rather than reading a text review.

The game definitely could be way better balanced, but the base mechanics are definitely good enough to give the game some replayability.
