I just managed to reset the edict and the timer is gone, but so far the game wasn't rly enjoyable for me. It was more like a reading marathon and a very complex story mixed with a minimum amount of fighting. At what point does the game become more enjoyable? I wasnt expecting a baldurs gate 3 but also wasnt expecting it to be so "slow". Maybe its not just my kind of game. And another question, is pathfinder (for those who played it) similar to tyranny? (Like pace, overall movement, map size)...

This game has left me with many questions ever since I last played it. It's surprising magic isn't cracked down upon, when the runes clearly go as far back as the Old Walls, and they're off limits. I've heard a lot about this game and I've made a serious attempt to get through the story, but I can't tell if I've chosen a difficult path, if I'm just not 'getting it', or if the combat really is knock-down-drag-out strong. I'm still in the opening stages, I wanted to create a spellcaster character, and while I have three allies travelling with me, I get into a fight on the road that just folds me like a lawn chair.
