A quick preview of the next scenario I'm making...
http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1056225061
For this scenario im gonna be experimenting with sounds and since it's at Penn Station, AI will take a bit longer to plan, so this will take a while to complete.

After what you've done with the latest scenario, I'm sure it is definitely going to something special. Can't wait to play it, especially now that we have LIRR repaints.

Looking forward to this scenario. I have sent you a message as I am working on an LIRR repaint of the NJCL multi levels

Yessssss, Springer! Would it be too much to ask for a better repaint of the M8 for Metro North M7 scheme?

rarecommonsense,
I don't want to hijack this scenario based discussion with repaint stuff, but yes, I don't see any problem in doing a MN M7A. It make take a little time as I have others to finish first.

Feel free to talk about it here, I just didnt want the scenario's comments to get flooded with conversation so I can hear from other people.
Springer, did you get my reply back? Steam has been acting kinda weird...

springer6: Hi, I am well on the way to repainting the NJCT Multi levels as LIRR C3s . There have to be quite a few compromises, but they look pretty good I think, especially as AI.
I thought you might consider them for your next scenario ? I will probably put on UKTS in a couple of days ( as its quicker) and then on RWA if I can. I will also look at painting a P32 to represent a LIRR electro diesel loco, but I haven't scoped this out yet.
ThatGuyWhoLikesTrains: Great! Definetly will use them. Although I still have some comments about the M7's:
ThatGuyWhoLikesTrains: First of all im kind of dissapointed that you trashed the passenger view. Considering that my next scenario will attempt to use station announcements, I sometimes want to kick back in the passenger view. I think for your next version you should bring back the interior and maybe attempt to reskin it to look like this https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/69/M7A_Interior.jpg/800px-M7A_Interior.jpg
ThatGuyWhoLikesTrains: Second for the destintaion display signs, you should use this for a list of termini: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Long_Island_Rail_Road_stations Please also add "West Side Yard" as well
ThatGuyWhoLikesTrains: Thank you!

Thatguywholikestrains,
I didn't "trash" the passenger view. As explained in the readme , it is aliased to the "A" pantograph cars and that is probably not changeable as it may be in the scripting. I'm not sure, I haven't had time to check it out yet. I feel that the third rail non panto M7, M7A and M9 look better without pantos , so I use only "B " non panto cars in my consists. If you must have a passenger view, you can always include an A car in the consist, but I don't think it looks very good. That being the case, I didn't bother repainting the interior, which would have been fairly simple.
I had the above linked info and so I had started to look at destinations and those I will possibly include ( electric terminals ) would be Long Island City, Jamaica, Rokonkoma, Babylon, Atlantic Terminal,East Williston, West Hempsted, Far Rockaway, Port Washington, Huntington, Hempstead, Long Beach and for the Metro North M7A Wassaic,Croton-Harmon, Yonkers. I am not local so I'd welcome a local to give guidance.
I don't like the red "led" type letters on the M8, but haven't figured how to change these yet ( the red colour that is ).
The above will take time for the M7,M9 and M7A. I have finished the textures for the Metro North M7A, but packaging it will take time. I have more or less finished the textures for the LIRR reskins of the NJCL Multi Levels ( ditto on packaging ) . I have also started to re-texture the P32 in LIRR "lookalike" livery.

An update on the M7, M9, M7A. I have done destinations as per the above post. Are these OK ?
I have done a custom "LIRR " interior ( blue leather, turquoise trim, beige carpet ). However I cannot make the "B " units see the passenger view, so if you require a passenger view in a scenario, then you will have to include at least 1 "A" pantograph car ( "T" prefix makes it always lowered) in your consist .

Yes - that is fine. Ill be able to work with that. Thank you!

I have posted a sceenshot of the upcoming MN M7A viewable by friends. I will also post a sreenie of the M7,M9, M7A interior
