Trains  [author] 19 Oct, 2018 @ 1:36pm
I have changed the title of the scenario - please note that this scenario might be broken. Let me know if it still works, and if it didn't, tell me what went wrong.
Thank you :D:

Hi all, if you can, please test this scenario in 64 bit mode and tell me if everything works. I need to know this if I want to make future scenarios
j.w.helfrich 23 Jul, 2018 @ 7:56am
can't for the Lirr Scenario. what stations is it gonig to include?
Trains  [author] 24 Apr, 2018 @ 12:16pm
Very strange - thank you for letting me know. Perhaps I'll need to cut down on traffic since the game engine really hates the Sunnyside area.
xplayman 23 Apr, 2018 @ 9:16pm
Unplayable. 1 frame per second on a $3,000+ custom built PC. Even reduced the quality and resolution.
Trains  [author] 14 Feb, 2018 @ 6:04am
That's odd. So all of the sounds completely glitched out? It's probably because of how crowded that area is.
I'm glad you enjoyed it either way!
henele54 13 Feb, 2018 @ 8:48pm
There was no sound. Everything else was awesome.
Trains  [author] 22 Sep, 2017 @ 11:15am
Bummer. It does start in a heavily populated area (both in terms of tracks and scenery), so maybe try lowering your settings and giving it a go.
Walter White 22 Sep, 2017 @ 10:48am
Scenario does not work. When starting out a dump file is saved, thus crashing the game
springer6 17 Jul, 2017 @ 10:49am
ThatGuyWhoLikesTrains,

Understood . Looking forward to your next scenario. :steamhappy:
Trains  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 6:17pm
Glad you enjoyed it!
rarecommonsense 16 Jul, 2017 @ 4:34pm
Yeah, I had an issue with the LIC station. But it was otherwise a really fantastic run. Loved the AI..that was the most active I've seen on this route thus far. Especially, By Sunnyside.. Great work.:steamhappy:

And yes, Springer, The paints are godsend. I can't even tell you how much I had hoped someone would have done this. Glad you decided to do it.. Awesome work. Now we can really gets something a bit more authentic, as far as scenarios. Thank you so much, dude!:steamhappy:
Trains  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 3:57pm
Springer,
I added you so we can talk about the reskin later. I dont want flood the comments with our conversation, if that's ok with you.
springer6 16 Jul, 2017 @ 3:40pm
rarecommonsense,
Glad you like the paints. You obviously are an LIRR M9 fan from your handle image.:steamhappy:
springer6 16 Jul, 2017 @ 1:09pm
The LIRR M7 and M9 repaints are now on Railworks America http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/engine-repaints?view=document&id=2486:long-island-rail-road-m7-and-m9&catid=18:engine-repaints

but without a picture or thumbnail ( I guess that my images did not meet the criteria )

Check out the UKTS link below for the image. If you don't have a UKTS account, downloading from RWA is quicker.
rarecommonsense 16 Jul, 2017 @ 10:56am
Springer.. Dude, Your repaints are a freaking come true.. THANK YOU SO F'n MUCH!!!!!
jeffskiba 15 Jul, 2017 @ 7:48pm
For what it's worth, the traffic was amazing for what I got to run. Nice work.
Trains  [author] 15 Jul, 2017 @ 7:35pm
Bummer...was worried someone was gonna run into that issue. I dont even understand why it's a problem anyway, why can't railworks recognize that you've stopped and you can pick up passengers? Or even worse, the doors open but the scenario doesn't think you did! :csdmad:
Thanks for trying anyway.
jeffskiba 15 Jul, 2017 @ 7:32pm
Yeah, couldn't get the doors open at the second stop. Gave up after trying all points on the platform. Bummer.
springer6 15 Jul, 2017 @ 3:25pm
Yes I guessed that the RWA operation was managed by just one guy. The last approved upload was 9 July. For all the difficulties in downloading from UKTS ( expensive or a pain, take your choice ! ) it is pretty easy to upload to. It is fully automated and the moderators just check the results, which is pretty quick if they know you.
I'll have a look at the destinations for version 1.1, the whole thing was done in a rush.
Please do put them in your next scenario, I've done some tests and they look much better and more realistic than the Metro North version in that section of the the route.
A run from NY Penn. to Jamaica ( only to held by "difficulties" at Woodside) would be good.
You've proved that scenarios do not have to be long to be enjoyable !
Trains  [author] 15 Jul, 2017 @ 2:54pm
Thanks you! I wish I could but we're limited to what's in NYNH sadly :steamsad:
In the future, I could set up a round trip where you have to go back to Woodside, but otherwise that's about as long as we can get with what we have right now.
ek111848 15 Jul, 2017 @ 2:27pm
Make it Longer. Very enjoyable
Trains  [author] 15 Jul, 2017 @ 6:07am
From what i've heard, the person in charge of managing incoming uploads is a busy person, so give it some time. I've been able to download the reskins and they work great, excellent job. Although, I wish you took advantage of the numbering system to change the digital signs from Metro North stations to LIRR terminuses.
Also, thank you for correcitng me on the reskin part. I was also a little hesitant since it would be a bit of a hassle for people but I think it'd be fine. I think I'll put them in my next scenario. Do you like Port Washington?
springer6 15 Jul, 2017 @ 2:16am
RWA was the first place I tried. I got no response, but maybe there is time yet ? It may be that the file names, image sizes etc. were not precise enough ? RWA seem to be very fussy indeed about that kind of thing.

I am happy for you to upload the skins to RWA if you are more used to their system, as long as you credit me as the author.

The Workshop does allow reskins of DTG/RSC products, so you could use reskins. Many Workshop scenarios now do.

I'll look forward to any new LIRR scenarios.
Trains  [author] 14 Jul, 2017 @ 2:46pm
Great reskins! Im still going to use the default M8 for workshop, but I may upload seperate versions which use your reskin.
Since I strongly dislike UKTS' downloading system, do you think you could try and upload it to RWA [railworksamerica.com]? They'd probably like it.
springer6 14 Jul, 2017 @ 2:30pm
I have posted my repaints of the DTG/RSC M8 as LIRR M7 and M9 on UKTS.
http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info.php?form_fileid=37032
I may be able to publish elsewhere later. These reskins may be useful in any amended or updated version of this excellent scenario.
Trains  [author] 13 Jul, 2017 @ 6:08pm
Theres no other part unless if you're asking for a run out of LIC, which I do plan on. But im toying around with different ideas so give me some time!
Tomasz Grykien 13 Jul, 2017 @ 4:39pm
Thanks for the cool ride I'm waiting for the next part of this scenario
kc.van 12 Jul, 2017 @ 12:30pm
very nice enjoyed will looking forr more of your work
Trains  [author] 11 Jul, 2017 @ 8:56am
Disclaimer: Out of all the things I should've done, I forgot to check how long the actual LIRR 2735 is! It's suppost to be 4 cars not 6...damnit. :csdsick: Next time I'll remind myself to double check before I upload...
Trains  [author] 10 Jul, 2017 @ 12:33pm
Thanks and good luck!
springer6 10 Jul, 2017 @ 12:06pm
Excellent scenario ! Worked as you instructed. I really enjoyed it, lot's of AI. Thanks !

It's inspired me to try a repaint (when I get the time) of the RSC M8 as an LIRR M7 or M9.

It's a pity that there are very few, if any, LIRR reskins out there.
Joethefish 10 Jul, 2017 @ 10:51am
Everything worked fine! I was a little late because I sort or wondered of from my train to trainspot when at a red light. I admire lots of traffic!
Trains  [author] 10 Jul, 2017 @ 10:49am
Thank you! I hope everything worked
Joethefish 10 Jul, 2017 @ 10:16am
Very nice scenario sir!
