Title Says it all. Any help is appreciated! Please keep it informative :D


PLEASE READ: As of 5/1/2017; Unfortunately, the workshop bugged out and is not correctly removing the old version and replacing it with a new version, instead it's leaving the old entry in your cache folder, while also still downloading the new version. However, it still chooses the old version over the new one (which is stupid). So you will need to delete my map's cache entry to play the new one or you'll get version mismatches.

For example: "C:\Users\<YOURNAME>\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Cache\904881341" <<
Delete this folder: 904881341
After you've done this, simply relaunch the game and it should be fine. Please let me know if you encounter any other issues. Sorry guys!

I have considered doing that beforehand, but falling into river is a feature for the most part. It was like that originally in Dungeon Defenders. I will consider though if enough people would like me to seal it off. :)

During the intro view of the players' avatars and of the boss wave, the textures on the body seem to flicker slightly. No major issue, but I thought I mention it.

Also I had the impression that there are sometimes fps drops, maybe due to all the custom material you included... I don't know if that can be improved or if it's just that my pc is too weak (I have no fps drops on the official maps and on most custom maps though)

It could be due to the Post Processing Effect with the Bloom effect being much stronger than what's usually seen in KF2. I noticed that on Zeds too from view distance, probably the cell effect is trying to figure out when to draw or not at a certain view? Dunno yet..

As for the FPS drops keep me posted, this goes for everyone. I even went rather harsh on the culling to make sure FPS was decent atleast. There are quite a few things that use major calculations so it puts more stress on the gpu, like the Crystal material and the River. But yeah keep me posted. What's your PC specs if you don't mind me asking?

My PC is pretty outdated but still manages to squeeze out about 30 - 50 fps on most maps with low to medium settings.
Intel Core2Quad 6600 & ATI 5770
Guess I have to live with low fps on detailed maps with custom material :Sadclot:

Ah it makes a bit more sense. I think since my map is much more open, I have to keep things rendered more than a indoor map would. As you notice, if you walk at a certain distance and look across the map, you can notice the culling taking effect to remove objects from view to gain a stable FPS. So it could be this that's taking a hit a bit harder on your PC than the usual.
