it's clearly not normal x) it's not a starting quest

it's a random quest that a random npc gave you that would probably just get them to join you on your journey.

Sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, it's not possible to limit where these monsters can spawn, as Starbound's quest generator doesn't take world threat levels into account... If ever something like this happens again, I recommend activating admin mode (type /admin into the chat box), and deactivating admin mode again after dispatching the monster.
