Missing Texture Bug
I got a bit of a bug, but it doesn't seem to be around any particular race. Here's the exact error I got from dev mode:

This happens with every race, including regular old humans. When brought up in Prepare Carefully, it shows these colonists having the "None" Body Type, which causes the pawn to not render at all portrait-wise. In game, they appear as a bright pink box, the color often used for missing textures. However, their heads do render.

can't really tell you what it is without a log, seems like whatever body type mod you use messes up.

This includes everything from game-startup to the occurrence of the error. It's long, but a lot of it is pretty pointless (A good portion of it has to do with scenarios made for other modlists not displaying their info correctly). This should help slightly more...

From what I can gather, that is about a specific android, but I fail to see a reason for it. I can only suggest resubbing to it and asking the android tiers author.

I disabled Android Tiers, and changed around my mod loadout (I replaced Fertile Fields and VG with the newly released Vanilla Expanded farming/cooking mods, and removed Genetic Rim entirely), and the error is gone. It appears you were right, or something in Genetic Rim was the issue, since that was removed too. I'll take a look regardless, and take your advice for resubbing.
