TROUBLESHOOTING
Here are list for troubleshoting bugs/glitches that might appear. (ON THE NOTE : I'll check things regarding Ravage mod, Ryan's Z&D, and general mission problem. I WILL NOT check anything regarding other mods incompatibility/crashes/features. It's outside the boundary of my mission, and in simple word - outside of my business. If you use other mods and then it crashes, go to each mod's respective web/forum and tell them what the error is.)


- Make sure you have properly selected the Ravage mod on launcher, and in the title screen make sure that the mod icon appears on the selected mod list (on the bottom-middle of the screen). Missing ravage_ai error is caused when Ravage mod is not loaded and then trying to play mission that requires Ravage mod.

- DOWNLOAD THE NEW RAVAGE update 1.36! (The link is on mission's info...) Ravage ver 1.35 is incompatible with newest Arma 3 build! Using 1.35 will results in stuck at loading screen!

- There is a bug with right-clicking ammunitions off of a corpse/box, it will makes your ammunition disappeared! Simply drag it to your backpack/vest to avoid this bug! I don't know what happens but this is the only "remedy" I could come up with.

- Running Zombies could stuck, but if you move far away, they will despawn - and respawn again if you visit the area.

- THERE ARE NO RADIATION HAZARD in this mission, as I did not include Radiation module from Ravage. Bringing Geiger counter will be of no use, you don't have to worry about radiation zones - they simply did not exist.

*If the problem is not listed, POST it here accompanied with detailed errors, what were you doing before the error appears, put screeshoots if possible, and be patient :) Mods in requirements are not mine, and they are under their own development. By that, it's possible that those mods are going to change in the future, and all I can do is to follow each development and make changes with Ravaged Hope mission.

I keep encountering the same error when trying to play the ravage mods/missions; It crashes on loading screen, or the loading screen stops responding at the end. Any suggestions?

Hmm.... try to disable mods - use only the required mods. In my case, I've got into the same error when playing other mission, which CTD me to desktop on loading screen. There are times where mods incompatible to each other, that is something out of my hand to fix.

Nevertheless, I'll check them ASAP, it might also be the case as ARMA 3 updated not long ago, might be causing error to mission/mods that I use.

Anyway, try to disable mods and keep me in touch with more error info o7

FOUND IT!

You need to update the Ravage mod manually. The newest Ravage mod version is 1.36. Well... I didn't found the error myself, there are posts on the Ravage thread of BI forum that 1.35 is incompatible with newer Arma 3 and it's been fixed with 1.36.

Thanks, I will do that tommorrow. I really like the ravage mod, and the potential for custom scenarios it brings!

I kept hearing some ambient combat sounds around a town in the NW but there was no visible combat occuring.

Acknowledge! That was a... mis-appropriate battle ambient on the area. It was planned for upcoming quest features, shouldn't be there on the current version. Don't worry tho, that ambient is gonna work as it should on 9.7 :)
