I have one at the edge of my map too.
No idea if it is a game bug or anything, but I've seen more people ask about it on the gnomoria forums.
Did I forget something? Do I need some reseaching before using pastures? I'm really confused...
The easy workarround is to make sure you gather/harvest at least 1 wheat straw before you try to assign yaks to a pasture. The game crashes because yaks need straw and there has not been any straw in game yet, so gathering 1 piece of straw fixes it.

I couldn't say it's critical but... some annoying.
Maybe reloading your save might fix it?
I am enjoying the mod. Thanks for the time to make it.
1. I also crashed when building a gym. Don't know where to find the log file.
Upon loading back into the game and trying it again, I was able to duplicate the crash again. I can't say that I'm doing anything abnormal. My gnomes are all moving about, doing their business.
I do have one training field already made. It also uses 2 training dummies, in case that when you may have duplicated some data to make the gyms, maybe some information was not changed properly.
2. The text on the cookbook and mixingtable both say that a tinker is needed (Task: Tinker). However, fortunately I read some of the chat posts about this mod and it was mentioned that someone with a brewing or cooking skill is needed for their respective research stations.
Confirmed that someone with those skills, and without Tinkering skill, will sit at the tables to do research.
4. Same for the Metallurgist workshop, regarding the text that says it uses the Tinkering skill.
5. At the well station, even though we can make the buckets with any type of log, and all types are presented as options, but in the Job Queue window, it always shows "pine waterbuckets" as the text in the output bucket. After it is made and the item in the in the output area of the workstation, it is also labelled as "pine waterbucket".
1: I have both gyms and training grounds in my own game without them crashing. I will look into it and see if I can reproduce the crash myself, or see if I made some typo somewhere.
Just to check: You are using the latest indev version of the game right?
2 and 4: Thanks for letting me know, I will correct the text for the research stations so they are correct.
5: This is done on purpose, otherwise you would get all sorts of different waterbuckets that all need there own barrel to store them in and it would also clutter up your stock menu and such. This is especially true if you would combine this mod with another mod that added new wood types. Therefor I set it to always make pine waterbuckets. Since they have no value the type it makes is irrelevant.
Thanks!
