I'm doing more testing to confirm but it seems the mod has affected our spawn rates. There is a very large # of sacro's, spino's and plesio's on our server since the mod. I've confirmed there are no spawmlimit/weightlimit settings in our ini's to modify this and have done server restarts, area clears but they keep coming back. One example is if I go out into the ocean to the bottom, I can't even see the bottom of the ocean (scuba gear) as there are about 150 plesio's in my screen. Any suggestions?

That is odd, I will definitely look into this and make adjustments to fix this problem. As I literally only changed the colors of the dinosaurs and nothing else.

Worked with Nyr and resolved the issue! Was just a bad download. Confirmed by testing single player and still had the billions of spawns. Removed and redownloaded mod and everything works perfectly!

So I'm the mod curator on a dedicated server www.roaminggamers.com but I think we found a bug with the mod for some reason we have 40 or 50 dinosaurs spawning at the same time I have a screenshot the only thing that's really changed is we've added this mod has anyone else had this problem or do you think it could be something else we have to other mods the Tameable Titanoboa & the Aku Shima mod any hlpe wood be good ty

I am currently having this looked into to get fixed. This is an internal issue that occurs when you Remap NPCs, basically what that means is I take the old NPC and replace it with my modded variant. The only thing my mod does is color dinosaurs and Remap Npcs. Meaning I have not adjusted anything else. I have not touched spawn weights, spawners for the different regions, nothing, but what is above.

So, this will be an issue until its fixed internally. I actually can revert the Dinosaurs affected by this, but an Ark Moderator has asked me to hold off on doing so. If you guys can bare with me, I will make sure this is fixed one way or another. If I wasn't asked to wait, I would have already had a fix out as soon as I come across this problem.

Also, If you check around you will notice that several mods have been experiencing this issue with plesios due to using Remap NPCs.

I have also put this in the Description of the mod until I get some sort of update from the Ark Moderator. I was told they are working on fixing this issue. If that does change in anyway or this begins to stretch out any longer with no eta, I will just fix the issue by reverting the effected dinosaurs until this is resolved.

https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?82069-bug-issue-Modded-plesiosaurs-spawning-in-crazy-numbers

this needs to be fixed asap as its making underwater caves useless and going in the water useless.

For everyone who was having issues with Plesiosaurs, I have reverted them back to Vanilla Plesiosaurs until this problem with their spawn is resolved. That way people can explore the waters around the island without any issues.

Doesn't look like that fixed it,

Just a fyi, the issue is resolved/workaround in place in v0.03J and has been acknowledged by the Ark team it's an issue with the game/devkit, not this particular mod. Any mod that modifies dino's has the issue, just other mod devs have put workarounds in place before it was troubleshooted to be determined it wasn't the mod itself causing it. Please ignore Viruz :)

Are we ever going to have one of these color mods actually change the colors of the mammoths? lol i always hope for it yet never see any color play with the mammoths. Dont get me wrong I LOVE the mod.. lol id just also love a purple or teal or pink mammoth.. bc why not.. its fun. rofl.
Nyremis  [developer] 1 Sep, 2015 @ 10:55pm
o.0 Mammoths do have color changes with my mod everything except newly released dinosaurs and alphas have color changes.
Nyremis  [developer] 1 Sep, 2015 @ 10:58pm
Also, there are 40 colors to each region for every dinosaur. This includes all vanilla colors and its all up to rng on what spawns in your game or server.

I feel like the only color changes I have seen on mammoths is the tusks. Just woke up, so I'll have to double check.
Nyremis  [developer] 2 Sep, 2015 @ 12:21am
Here is a screenshot in-game running my mod to prove it. Like I said, its RNG as to what spawns, its 100% random.
