I know it's not the best option but doing the entire game in the same gear got tiresome and really, most of the combat gear for ranged combat kinda turns silly at one point. Because as much as a shaman set might be strange to wear, wearing that bunny ganger suit is probably even less attractive!
But I hear you guys and I kind of agree, the mandatory clothing is a bit weird at some points.
Really trying to tell a story, not be bothered much by gear/etc.
So yeah, looking into it, suggestions welcome.
Going to loosen objective restrictions in the next update for now, so if anyone wishes they can stay in the same gear or pick the one they like most (or, the one with the most armor/stats! ;) ).
This kind of stuff is all very great to hear, learning this as I go and the more I learn here, the more I can add to my next mod.
Difficulty: Very Hard
Overall, GREAT JOB. I would very much like to see this story continue.
In this mod you really play a character from my book which is set in stone. The mod has not been designed with (much) player choice in mind. You do influence situations but will not ever be able to determine the overall outcome. I aim to keep true to my book and it's characters in this videogame prequel.
But there's good news, because my next project is going to be a full Shadowrun experience with a lot of player choice and everything else that makes the Shadowrun games so great and personal.
So lots of work yet to do, but I'm looking forward to work on it.
When I went to buy the laptop and find the blueprints, the door to the sushi resturant was open, but there was a black/shadow mass stopping me from getting the door.
After I got the items and went to the Cafe, the black/shadow mass was gone, but the door to the sushi place was gone (but you can see all the interaction points within).
non game breaking:
When I went to get the green keycard in the mansion break room, one of the guards took 15-20sec to take their turn and just moved about, not attacking. Male in orange/brown suit, I think.
balance issue:
The library fight in the mansion has no cover, strong enemies and they get init. I took more damage in that one fight than I did in the rest of the mod! (2 doc wagon kits and a med kit).
balance issue:
(I may have been doing things wrong, but) when I first got to Kim's weapon shop I couldn't equip the top-tier weapons, so I bought the best rifle I could use. I was not able to go back to the shop later on to buy better ones. Should have bought and banked the best rifle which is somewhat counter-intuitive. Also, she sells drones that ?can't be used?
