What defensive blocks do you want to see?
I'm creating two categories for suggestions for this mod: Offence and Defence. This thread is for defense blocks. Following the theme of this mod of weapons specifically for stations and platforms, I'd like to hear what you think is missing and I'll look into adding it in.
The main requirement is that your suggestions should also specify which faction they're to go into.
You should also try to make the suggestion fit the factions current defensive preferences.

Since you're asking, I would like to see a "high tech" lazer(Ion stream fed[think lond range beam rapid prototyper]weapon, or material "printer"[how much lead exactly?], or missile/rocket launcher with a warhead that leaves an AOE shield effect(a shield generator, activated upon detonation of guided missile/ballistic round upon collision or coming within a range of a hostile [target, or maybe just hostile unit, period]) which lingers for a period of time.
Not a classic modern nuclear electro-magnetic pulse exactly, but a missile drone that activates a "swarm shield" upon destruction, which activates other drones within a slightly larger range than that of the shield. Note, it would also have to act as a point defense missile, in that, like a flare, it would "pull agro" from missiles in range as well as fighters( auto attack and point defense) and possibly frigates((auto attack as well as point defense...?) due to its priority assignment/ on-board ECM capabilities... Maybe another rocket version should exist? Either way it would be like a deployable shield wall... that said perhaps a legitimate "shield wall, weapon, and lastly, this goes for offense as well as defense, a Deployable (Mobile and stationary[variable power radii and cost]) self replicating mine... The self replicating cloaked mine being the ultimately offensive weapon of defense ever conceived... Just ask the Dominion...

As for the faction to go into, I would request a new faction ID so it in fully compatible with all mods.
If you want base faction stats, Ill get back with you on a modded custom faction to add it too, but I high regen, balanced faction sounds ideal, perhaps something like the Meat faction? A custom faction would be crucial to make a SOLID mod, but hey, you're the one in charge, I'll save such calls for the mods I lead...
