Knives *used to* be absurdly strong, but you were able to run away constantly with no real consequence. Sadness is fake and should never be used as a balance mechanic, hence why I'm not doing something like "throwing knives gives sadness"
Buffing knives in any capacity is an absolute no-go beyond maybe a very slight DI modifier reduction, but even that's got me on the fence.
There's a balance between faithfulness and gameplay, but if you have something specific to suggest, I'm all ears

I should note that her oki is supposed to be very strong and while I could tone it down, a simple push block is usually enough to mitigate pressure if not ending with grab. Might replace the grab entirely though, if it proves to be too much of an issue. I'm generally taking notes from vanilla and dialing them up by a few notches for her block pressure, just to see how far i can push it.
It should also be known that with how I wanted this character to feel, this level of absolutely bonkers blockstring potential was mostly inevitable, so I apologize for that.
