This thread collects the most common questions and answers about the mod and spotted issues, so please check here first before posting.

1. I still can't see capacity on the container
Make sure that Clean UI B42.12 Hotfix is enabled in your save and placed after “Clean UI” (both must be enabled). You can use Mod Load Order Sorter [b42] – it will highlight the mod in red if the order is wrong.

If that doesn't help, the most likely cause is another conflicting mod. In that case, please try the steps from Quick check for Clean UI issues and then If it is NOT Clean UI – identify the conflicting mod, as described in the Bug Reports section.

In one known case, a game reinstall resolved the issue, but I would recommend trying it only as a last resort after faster options have been exhausted.

2. Mod X doesn't work with Clean UI / Clean UI B42.12 Hotfix
Please check the Incompatible / Conflicted Mods section of the description before reporting known issues.

If the mod isn't listed, please describe exactly what isn't working and how to reproduce it in the Bug Reports thread.

3. I don't see the "Clean UI B42.12 Hotfix" in my modlist
If you subscribed to the mod before October 2, 2025, please unsubscribe and re-subscribe. Earlier versions were restricted to game version B42.12.0; when TIS released B42.12.1, the mod stopped appearing. Version v1.1.0 or later fixes this.

4. Player/Loot panel sidebar position not changed
After changing this setting reload the save to take effect.

5. I see errors on the RMB context menu in the inventory panel
In all known cases this is caused by another outdated mod(s). Please make sure you don't have Common Sense enabled, as it's a known source of similar errors.

If you want to identify which mod is causing it, please follow the steps described in the Bug Reports thread (see: “Quick check for Clean UI issues” and “If it is NOT Clean UI – identify the conflicting mod”).

All RMB context menus from the inventory are displayed through Clean UI, but the root cause of these errors comes from outdated mods that corrupt the context menu. You can confirm this by disabling Clean UI and Clean UI B42.12 Hotfix and repeating the same action.

Known mods which cause(d) RMB issues:
  • Common Sense - too outdated and buggy on B42.12, no solution as of now, please deactivate it to avoid RMB errors and corrupted context menu
  • PZK VLC (Vanilla look-like car pack) (prior to 27 Sep 2025 update) - fixed in recent version, re-sub to get fixed version from 3 Oct 2025 update or later.
  • Potentially many more, please let me know if you find one not listed
