@Heisenberg please check “5. I see errors on the RMB context menu in the inventory panel” in the F.A.Q. for more details.

Other mods may cause this too — Common Sense is one of the known examples among many others that can trigger similar RMB issues. If you manage to identify which mod caused it, please let me know.

Why do I get an error when right-clicking the equipment/inventory bar? I have already disabled the Common Sense Mod.

Thank you for your mod,So that i can finally open cleanUI play games,

@corn connoisseur please try re-subscribing to the mod. Most likely it’s due to the “2025-10-02 NOTICE” mentioned at the top of the description.
corn connoisseur 3 Oct @ 2:11pm
I haven't seen anyone else have this issue, but my friend and I both are; it doesn't seem like either of the clean UI mods will show up in our load order. We're on build 42.12 for sure. any ideas how to start troubleshooting?
ivmakk  [author] 3 Oct @ 1:32pm
@Hawk! in 100% of known cases this is caused by another mod. Please make sure you don’t have Common Sense enabled, as it’s a known source of similar errors.

If you really want to identify which mod is causing it, please follow the steps described in the Bug Reports thread (see: “Quick check for Clean UI issues” and “If it is NOT Clean UI – identify the conflicting mod”).

All RMB context menus from the inventory will display through Clean UI, but the root cause of errors comes from outdated mods that corrupt the context menu.
Hawk! 3 Oct @ 1:07pm
seem to be getting errors relating to cleanui when right clicking any food or drink, can still eat them fine but just thought i'd mention it. The error changes to be caused by cleanui b42.12 fix when its installed also
ivmakk  [author] 3 Oct @ 12:12pm
@yayie try applying the changes and then reloading. Please see the “Player/Loot panel sidebar position” info in the mod description.
yayie 3 Oct @ 12:09pm
I would like to ask, do you know why I can't switch LootPanel Sidebar from Left to Right?
JesusChristIsLord 3 Oct @ 10:54am
alr thanks for this
ivmakk  [author] 3 Oct @ 10:48am
@Daxolion hey, please check "1. I still can’t see capacity on the container" on F.A.Q.
ivmakk  [author] 3 Oct @ 10:08am
@d4n13lus the same is true in the opposite direction – CleanUI works fine without “Smarter Storage” :D Just kidding! We’re aware of the issue and are working on both mods to improve compatibility.
d4n13lus 3 Oct @ 10:07am
The problem is that the "smarter storage" menu doesn't appear while the CleanUI mod is active. But you can disable CleanUI, change the storage icons, and then re-enable CleanUI. The modified icons will remain :)
d4n13lus 3 Oct @ 9:51am
The "Smarter Storage" mod works fine without the clean ui mod. I hope you can resolve the incompatibility! Cheer up!

Good

Understandable, appreciate you for putting in time on this =)

thank you

IMPORTANT : Hey all, I just noticed that TIS released 42.12.1, and the previous version of the mod was restricted to work only on 42.12.0 (honestly didn’t expect the next release this fast :VGRUMPY:).

Please re-subscribe to the mod if it auto-disabled in your list - I fixed the maxVersion in yesterday’s update.
ivmakk  [author] 2 Oct @ 7:46am
@Dabble do you mean Smarter Storage? I tried to add at least some level of compatibility with the current mod, but it’s just too closed off for any external integration. After spending hours on it, I gave up. So unfortunately, no ETA for now (though I might spontaneously get a boost of motivation to try again, or maybe the author will update the Storage mod to fix the outdated parts).

For now, I follow the same workaround: disable Clean UI → set up all the needed container names/icons → then re-enable Clean UI/Fix.
Dabble 2 Oct @ 7:39am
Great work! Any ETA on the compatibility with the storage mods? My hoarder heart forces me to toggle clean UI on and off to customize my loot crates x]

Thank you i been waiting for the updated version for this mod :)
ivmakk  [author] 30 Sep @ 2:44am
@ladyteruki from what I saw on the Common Sense author’s Discord, the author mentioned some health issues months ago and then went offline everywhere. So this seems more like real-life circumstances than a matter of responsibility.

Unfortunately, the author also set very restrictive copyright on all mods, leaving no way for others to contribute or maintain something like Common Sense. The good news is that many of its features already have alternatives as separate mods, so over time it will likely be fully replaced by smaller mods from other contributors while still respecting the original copyright.
ivmakk  [author] 30 Sep @ 2:34am
@dedektif. please make sure that "Clean UI B42.12 Hotfix" is enabled in your save and placed after “Clean UI” (both must be enabled). You can use Mod Load Order Sorter [b42] – it will highlight the mod in red if the order is wrong.

If that doesn’t help, then the most likely cause is another conflicting mod. In that case, please try the steps from “Quick check for Clean UI issues” and then “If it is NOT Clean UI – identify the conflicting mod,” as described in the Bug Reports section.

If you see any errors or find a conflicting mod, please share the info in"Bug Reports". I’ll do my best to investigate whether compatibility can be added.
dedektif. 30 Sep @ 1:38am
bro, the weight icon is not showing. My car trunk's weight icon or any container weight icon is not showing. How can I fix it?
ladyteruki 29 Sep @ 3:08pm
Thanks for the fix ! It's a damn shame that Common Sense isn't compatible, or even updated atm (or ever ?), it worked fine for me until 42.11 and I'll be sad to have to live without. But the UI takes priority !
ivmakk  [author] 29 Sep @ 6:26am
@Tank5168 thnx for reporting! From what I see, the issue is on the Fashinoid side – it uses an outdated way of handling item interactions, which breaks constructing the context menu (this happens in vanilla too, not related to Clean UI). I’d recommend deactivating it until it’s updated for B42.12 compatibility. Added a note to the "Incompatible / Conflicted Mods" section.

@The LCD Manage Containers can’t really be supported – it’s too broken on B42.12 and needs an update. I’ve added a note about this to the description.
Arsenal[26] 28 Sep @ 9:13am
Thanks @ivmakk for getting us thru that rough patch of item count lag, and quick 42.12 fix
ivmakk  [author] 28 Sep @ 7:34am
@Inverspe the current mod should load after CleanUI (this happens automatically because of the defined dependency, unless the order is changed manually). You can also try moving it to the very bottom of your mod list – in rare cases that helps with conflicts. For most players though, no special load order is needed.

Thanks for the fix, now CleanIU, CleanIU hotbar y Nested (cleanIU compatible) works fine :3

Thanks for the hotfix! Only compatibility issue I had was with the Manage Containers mod, transfer and take all weren't working.
Ki Charn Ro 27 Sep @ 2:52pm
Works great mate but you can't put the loot panel to the right in the options. Everything else works great
Cobernados 27 Sep @ 2:45pm
Великолепно! That's great!:steamhappy:
ivmakk  [author] 27 Sep @ 2:14pm
@Garfield yeh, I’ve also found it to be one of those essential mods that’s hard to imagine a playthrough without. The missing capacity indicator was so annoying - it actually pushed me to spend a weekend fixing it :saddeer: Hope it works for you :)
ivmakk  [author] 27 Sep @ 2:11pm
There was an issue with missing toggles (oven/washing machine on/off, fuel indicators, etc.). It’s fixed in v1.0.1 – please re-subscribe if you had this problem to get the latest version.
