Bug Reports
Please post your bug reports here or on our Discord server under the channel #new_dawn_bugs. The link to the server is on the mod page.

We are not providing support for the 3.14 Legacy version of the mod. Any reports made about issues with that version will be ignored.

We'd prefer it if you posted on the Discord server so we can properly keep track of bugs as well as actually take a look at your saved games and error logs properly. Having a bug report thing here is just a formality.

Keep in mind the following when reporting bugs:

1) 99% of all mods will not work with New Dawn. Before reporting a bug, see if it happens without any other mods installed except for New Dawn.

2) If you are subscribed to any add-ons from the 3.14 version aside from "shrimpAI for Total Conversions," please be aware that they may not work for the new version of the mod.

3) Do not subscribe to everything in "New Dawn Submods." You do not need to have the IBU patch unless you're using Immersive Beautiful Universe.

4) Load order is important. New Dawn always needs to be on the top of the list.

For whatever reason it worked fine the first time, come back this morning and now the actual mod itself is saying on the launcher red flag ( this archive path in this mods descriptor file is invalid or does not exist ) and there's 2 of them one is blank and the other is the pic for the mod and I play via geforce now so I cannot fix this issue myself (?) Is it a mod problem or a stellaris problem ?
Crashing when one of my leaders become a Sith after completing the Korriban storyline.

Is that normal can't build outpost in Tiyana Vek? I can't find the option to do it both on galaxy map and the system map. Use the command of the constructor is also not working. Save/Load the game will not help
Don't know what the triggers are if its my system, mod, or game. Tried to load Huge and Large Canon Maps and the game will just freeze 30 minutes in. Any recommendations to hunt down the culprit?

Year 2055 month 5 day 1 I get a hard lock up. Using the recommended large map. I assume its an event firing.

Edit: Just saw the workaround post, going to try and see if that works for my case.

Was working fine, now it seems my constructors can no longer build outposts anywhere on the map.
Playing as Empire, date is 12/2258.
New dawn is top of load order.
Only other mods used are tiny outliner and ambient music.

seeing instances of enemy ships just... leaving battles off the map, not warping out and just causing perpetual battles that can only be ended by retreated of YOUR forces as your ships cannot get to them.

Playing as Empire but happens to every faction randomly.
New Dawn is only mod.

still getting the issue it seems to happen with commerce guild shipset and imperial shipset interactions commonly. the two navy's will NOT approach each other and just cause an endless battle that will only end when the HUMAN player retreats.

you want a save while the bug is happening. if it happens again i will send the save. ive have won that war and the units de-spawned.

The bug i was having is already in the #new_dawn_bugs under the name "a bug stops my fleet and others from passing" posted by A$AP [smoking_420_everyday]

seems to be an issue where the AI think they are in range but are not so they just cease function. meaning the battle never finishes and they just drift off the map. but i too am unsure.

Amazing mod!!! loved the legacy version and cannot wait to see what this one offers but still struggling to get the game started even after doing your common fixes, it loads up ok but wont take to menu screen even tried changing about the betas and even clearing cache and still not working, i understand you are trying to fix this issue so i will respect the team but just wanted to mention this incase no one else has recently

I want to report a bug that in fleet combat very weak enemy of mine seems to exceed the system limits now i cant do dmg and have to pull my fleet off bc they re locked in combat

also having the issue of enemy fleets flying beyond the system border causing my fleet to endlessly go in circles until i retreat (which instantly warps the enemy fleet back into the center of the system)

We know about the issue. It has to deal with combat computer ranges. Its something we'll have to fix.
