Multiplayer Feedback & Bug Reports
Thanks for helping test the Multiplayer Beta!

Multiplayer bugs are often the trickiest to solve, so your detailed reports are essential. Even small issues can point to larger desync problems.

Before posting, please make sure everyone on the server is on the latest version of the mod.

To help me fix the issue faster, please try to include the following in your report:

1. The Basics:
  • What happened? (e.g., "My friend's reflected projectile was invisible.")
  • What mods were you and the other players using?

2. The Multiplayer Context (Very Important!):
  • Were you hosting the server, or were you a client?
  • How many people were playing with you when the bug occurred?
  • Did the bug happen to everyone, or just you/the host/a client?

3. Log Files:
If you or anyone else saw red error text or crashed, please share the `client.log` file from everyone involved if possible. A log from the server (`server.log`) is also incredibly helpful. You can use a site like Pastebin[pastebin.com] to share them.

Any information helps, even if it's incomplete. Thank you for making the multiplayer experience better for everyone!

Hi! I am currently trying out this mod in a Calamity Infernum Multiplayer scenario. So far - experience been almost overwhelmingly positive. However currently i am facing a strange issue.
We are fighting Devourer of Gods, and when I parry his charges - i see the "counter-attack" message appear (from the accessories spawning projectiles) but, for some reason, i still take damage, even if i put "parry I-frames" to something ridiculous like 120.

My assumption is - from what i know there are different I-frames in the game, and they have different level. For example a projectile from a boss wont protect you from the same boss contact damage, while Lava-iframes are stronger than anything (at least that's what i once heard in a video)

But yeah, no matter how big i make the parry window or success-iframes, i still take damage

Hi Just A Bait,

Thank you for the fantastic and incredibly detailed report. This is a super valuable find, especially with Calamity Infernum — I would have likely never found this on my own.

I'm looking into it right now. As soon as I have a solution, I'll push out a hotfix.

The hotfix is now live.

The parry should now grant a brief window of true invulnerability, which should fully protect you from the Devourer's charge and similar multi-hit attacks.

Please update the mod and let me know if everything works as expected. If you or anyone else runs into any other issues, please keep the reports coming! Thanks again for the excellent report.
Oh my god!! It's incredible. I checked just now - DoG now gets parried as i expected he would. Thank you so much for the fix!!

You're very welcome! That's incredible news. I'm so glad the fix is working perfectly and the Devourer is getting parried as he should.

If you haven't already, a thumbs up on the workshop page would be a huge help! And please, don't hesitate to suggest any new features you'd like to see. I'm always looking for new ideas.

It seems that the config isn't server-sided. I had to tell all my clients to change their parry config, even though it should default to the host's config

Thanks to your report, I've just pushed a new patch that fixes this. The server's config should now properly override the client's settings.
