We are fighting Devourer of Gods, and when I parry his charges - i see the "counter-attack" message appear (from the accessories spawning projectiles) but, for some reason, i still take damage, even if i put "parry I-frames" to something ridiculous like 120.
My assumption is - from what i know there are different I-frames in the game, and they have different level. For example a projectile from a boss wont protect you from the same boss contact damage, while Lava-iframes are stronger than anything (at least that's what i once heard in a video)
But yeah, no matter how big i make the parry window or success-iframes, i still take damage
Thank you for the fantastic and incredibly detailed report. This is a super valuable find, especially with Calamity Infernum — I would have likely never found this on my own.
I'm looking into it right now. As soon as I have a solution, I'll push out a hotfix.
The parry should now grant a brief window of true invulnerability, which should fully protect you from the Devourer's charge and similar multi-hit attacks.
Please update the mod and let me know if everything works as expected. If you or anyone else runs into any other issues, please keep the reports coming! Thanks again for the excellent report.
If you haven't already, a thumbs up on the workshop page would be a huge help! And please, don't hesitate to suggest any new features you'd like to see. I'm always looking for new ideas.
