i don't see any difference in terms of gameplay
all i noticed is it takes about 5% of my fps

ngl jit, that just means ur blind and your pc is a potato.
my pc isn't a potato i have an rtx 4070 super paired up with ryzen 7 5800x3d
Maybe you play with already enabled aa called msaa. With that enabled you aa existing aa :p
oh alr i just had a mod that conflicted with this now it makes a difference

If you have MSAA enabled, your image is already antialiased and FXAA is not required. FXAA is useful in deferred rendering. Or on weak PCs. :csgoct::csgoct::buckshotlive::buckshotblank::melon:

Antialiasing needs to be selected. One of this list:
• FXAA (medium quality, but very cheap)
• SMAA (good quality)
• MSAA (standard gmod AA)

FXAA and SMAA are good for deferred rendering - which I'm doing now.

MSAA is good on its own, but it won't work for deferred rendering. So I'm setting the stage for my next addons.
